Daily reaching the upper line of the channel.
H4. If the price does not close above 1817,66 on 4hr basis then a bearish divergence could be in place.
NFP tomorrow soon will be taking profit time.

Yeah I have 1818 as 50 fib retracement on my charts and it has hit that.

Price action is probably going to whipsaw madly tomorrow.
A 1 pip gain is better than a 1 pip loss.

Although I am curious because USDJPY on 4H looks like it is in a bear flag and just consolidated but daily looks like it may want to break 110.9.

Thus far there hasn't been any catalyst to give it a solid move. Wonder if NFP will be it

No, pitchfork works alone, divergence alone, and 123 alone, and wolf waves alone. It gives you more alternatives to understand what's next.

Sometimes you have 123 bullish then you get divergence bullish a kind of confirmation. and sometimes they work as a symphony as you have a bullish 123 and as you reach the target you find out that price creates a bearish divergence on the same pair, so you ride it down again.

Can you please help with a little clarification.

When you suggest in your analysis SL close below xxxx, what's the expectation in setting SL.
I see you're still in play with most of the trade ideas, my AUDCAD and USDCAD have both hit SL.

Below were the values I used.
USDCAD: SL- 1.2242
AUDCAD: SL- 0.9450

Right now gold broke my Resistance @1816.5 and is bullish so I "think" it's going to hit Daily R1 @1828.0 and there's also a Resistance I see @1825.5 H4 2021.02.15

Hello,
We must be able to plan our trades for a short and long time, short time is 15min to 4hr while long time daily-weekly.
Let's take UsdCad for example. short term trade says that we may have support at 1.2270 the analysis was on 30min timeframe and we bought based on that, the price went down and closed 30min bar below. We would close our trade but our long-term weekly analysis says that as long as the price does not close below 1.2247 weekly support (2017 low) then the price may find support.
You decide to keep the trade based on weekly analysis especially when it is not so far away, it is really about planning where you should take into account when you take trades in 30min that you may keep it based on weekly.
It is true the trade of 30min failed but you see that there is still the possibility to turn based on weekly.

We place support / resistance zone on weekly. based on that plan our trades both size and SL. Traders place a small size with just the right SL on a trade opportunity of 30min but use their purchasing power / bazoka on weekly support and of course with the appropriate SL.
