I'm still expecting price to push higher from where it is now, and I noticed not a fresh demand level on 4h, I first hesitated but as I saw rejection I took the risk and its paying off

Hi, please if i had marked my demand zone this way, would i have been wrong?, please can you help with explanation.

Hi Murphy, Definitely not you would have been right , That's a RBR we see present imbalance in that level not only that but we also see supply zone being taken out if you check lower timeframe you'll see it more clear, Its a fresh zone but not original, That's my problem with it, check the first leg its drawing liquidity from the below demand zone, from my own perspective it is still a demand just low odds for me.

@joe123,@trevosiband and every other interested boss here.. kindly correct if am wrong.
am looking for price to break the marked SZ to confirm the change in momentum then, there could be a minor DZ on the way up to be responsible for the break of the marked SZ, and will also serve as pullback zone to go up.

I expect a break of the DZ if current price closes as a base candle.. then i can consider going short, not neglecting what USINDEX is saying though

The simplest way to put it is that a original level is a level that's not retesting any previous level. Remember like I said that one (Gold) is retesting a below demand . Original level are created out of the blue. That's why it's important you always check not only how fresh your level is but also check what's below or above it .

I would go down a few time frames to see what price is showing. I have two levels on two timeframes shown which can give minor rejection levels. we currently stalled on a supply zone.


On a larger time frame. you could mark it like that.

Been following this thread for a while now. Tried reading every comment from its inception. Couldn’t finish though so I skipped to real time.

Supply above, if we manage to get up there, I have a short in place. what do you think of this setup in gold? Dollar strength should keep Gold subdued.

The first chart is gold on the weekly timeframe. It shows price hit a weekly demand and is headed for the used supply zone.
The second chart is daily timeframe. Price is consolidating just below a fresh daily supply zone. Selling from that zone to buy from the fresh demand much lower is a risky move. But risk to reward ratio is superb.
What are your thoughts?

tried a long above the demand, and if we manage to stay above it we should be fine for a possible break out above the trend line.

GBPUSD & Dollar index chart. closed out 1/3rd

Dollar index chart has its last chance at support above 91.00

hey Whady, your supply zone on the daily has already been consumed. if you look on a lower time frame such as the 8 hour you'll see price has hit that level.

When you mark out on a daily like you did, its good to go into a lower time frame to see where in the daily supply the supply actually is. other wise you just marking out a pivot high or pivot low which wont tell you where the supply actually is. That's just my view regarding trying to find supply or demand levels. the other way is waiting for bullish and bearish engulfing candles next to the supply zones as confirmation entry to get into a trade which is a little lagging but can be a second confirmation entry on top of the zones.

That's just my view on it, I'm no expert though
