I trade hands mainly, the strategy is based on technical analysis, volume analysis and analysis of market sentiment. The average risk per trade is up to 2-3% of the deposit. Each trade is protected by a stop loss. And of course no martingale.

Maybe but nothing is guaranteed; I'll wait for significant price action and confirmation.

Price action is critical but there must be a potential feasible trade setup at the location; 'feasible': at least 3RR.

I basically don't stick to a strict distribution...
So, your rule is a minimum of 3RR ration, do you think this is key for consistency trading? and how do you think it will change with different trading styles, e.g. intraday for trading?

I trade my rules. It's in each trader's best interest to set, test and stick to their rules.

one sentence

I scalp 7-15p short term confirmed directional momentum ‘changes’ using AS MUCH patience as I can muster to enter at a suitable point from a one minute chart - using both 5min & 1hr chart confluence setups from my templates (which are essentially, but not exclusively ma based).

(ps for any that might ponder just “templates and/or ma’s” they are NOT the most important, more important imho is ‘patience’. For me the hardest part of trading is still patience, and is the constant battle I face within myself daily).
