Seems you already know how to open an mq4 in the meta editor (right click the indicator, modify). Start to play around with it there, doesn't matter if you mess up as you can reinstall from a redownload of the indicator or have an original copy in your computer.

Try change Dimgrey to Black , click file, compile, and save the file, load it onto your chart, see what you get.

Hello Everyone,

I am looking for an indicator that can " plot Daily CPR lines above the Moving averages".

So far all those I have tried (Wyatt's Pivots, FxssI All in one pivots, sdk pivots etc) all are using objetcs in their codes and these objects are being plotted below the moving averages.

While searching I came across "Weekly_Pivot_Ranges" coded by CJA. It uses "SetIndexStyle" function and plots the CPR above the moving average line. The only trouble is it's plotting weekly CPR and I need to plot Daily CPR.

Will anyone of you be kind enough to modify it to show daily CPR? It would be great help for me.

hi .. can anyone help me make an expert advisor?

the rules
1. open a position in the next candle from the reference candle
2. I can set the candle hour which is the reference for the next candle
3. I can set the reference candle whether bullish or bearish
4. I can set an open position to buy or sell
5. I can set TP and SL

example: if the 8 o'clock server candle is bullish, then I can set an open position on the 9 o'clock server candle buy or sell.

or if the 8 o'clock server candle is bearish then I can open a buy or sell position on the 9 o'clock candle sl and tp can be set single entry with a lot that can be set

That is a very old pivot indicator which I did not code but modified 12 to 14 years ago? just get one of the later object based pivot indicators and change the code to place the objects on top.
ObjectSet(name, OBJPROP_BACK , true);//Sets objects below
ObjectSet(name, OBJPROP_BACK ,false);//Set objects on top

Here is an earlier Pivot indicator I coded and I have added code so the user can choose to have the Lines/Labels on top or below.

I used the object code that you gave in Wyatt's pivots and it's working . But in some charts pivots are not showing at all (for some weird reason). While your coded Pivots main is working flawlessly on all charts.

Can you please add Daily CPR to Pivots main? That would solve my problem.

That is a terrible idea, it never loses...until your account is blown. It is grid-martingale, offers no long term edge to extract efficiency from the market. With that said, plenty of these eas exist already, look for them.

Thank you, I've already done that, but i'ts not what I need.
I tried other options but it doesn't work. (0xFFFFFFFF).

It's not taking strings for colors literally, its doing it's own modifications, so you cant get clrNONE.
Comment out line 3171, and add another line below objectsettext, objectsetinteger, and set the color to clr. Objsettext wont accept a no-color.
edit - oh and type in nothing or none in the color string input instead of the default dimgray

would you mind adding a sound alert to your Spread Alert indicator pleas. so i can choose between having a pop up with sound or a popup without please. come friday and some other times, it bombards me with sound alerts when all the spreads go crazy. i know i can turn them off in "tools" but i have some others that i need.

Thank you for taking the time to detail the issues with my code. Clearly I still have a lot of learning to do and I appreciate the guidance you have offered. To be precise, I meant that that I have never had to store counter values in a buffer before, so I was stymied when the situation presented itself. Thanks again for all the help, have a good one!
