Price opened at 16:30 at 33.782

We put a BUY STOP at 33.812 (30 pips above the opening price)

We put a SELL STOP at 33.752 (30 pips below the opening price)

Entry SELL STOP triggered with lot 0.01, arrived at TP (great) $$$ 03 dollars in the pocket

He didn't make it to TP and came back and took STOP at 33.812 for a loss of $ 6.

Activates the defense which is the BUY STOP entry at 33.812 with lot 0.02.

Price goes up and goes up to 33.857 + 45 pips with lot 0.02.

$$$ win $ 9.

$ 3 goal of the day.

$ 9 from the 2nd BUY STOP entry win

06 dollars from SELL STOP defeat

So a little while ago I mentioned I was testing an EA with an adaptation of this strategy. The entry rules are more or less the same, but the MM is different hence me not posting much about it. Anyway I decided to give this strategy using the EA a try on a free FTMO trial as the rules are pretty straight forward and match well for prop trading.

It's been 2 weeks so far and the results look promising. Now its just a case of getting the final small bugs out of the EA and then trying on an actual challenge account. I've also been trading it on a small live account for comparison and so far everything has matched up.

This is a pretty good EA strategy I think with some modifications to the pip distance, I wrote a quick and dirty EA to test it and it looks very good on backtesting!
Pip distance used here is 150, and target is $5 profits. Rest follows the strategy as you described, but all that could be parameters.

Account is 100% up in 4 months (backtesting) with little drawdown. 0.1 start lot used
