That's why regulation affects us. There are always unethical practices that legitimate regulatory bodies to be more restrictive.

Re-sync the TE for credibility. It makes no sense that your TE's last shown trade was 56 days ago yet the withdrawal is recent.

You blocked me to post on your thread! Don't come now here with your proofs!

I'm not asking for a specific proof of someone that by chance passed the challenge.

I'm just pointing out that there many fake proofs and suspicious proofs. That the business model does not suit with that of a prop-firm.

I would like to see an audited trading account of FTMO. Where I can see what you and other traders do after one year of trading.

One just has to read your thread and posts to know that you don't have the knowledge required to professionally manage any trading account.

Do you like me to show you proofs that look like yours?

the day count adds up. after the payment, ftmo gives you a new account

As I have already said. You don't have to prove anything about yourself. It is all about FTMO.

Again, it is just about FTMO and their trading as prop-firm. And the way they promote the participation fees business.

I hope everyone had a fine and profitable week as usual, let’s get to our regular weekly update.
Despite the short Easter break, our week was rather busier than usual.
Finally, the pandemic-related restrictions are slowly loosening and the whole team is partially returning back to the office.

Let‘s move on to platforms: last week on Sunday (4th of April), we faced a quick issue between approx. 23:00 and 23:59 CEST (00:00 – 00:59 platform time) when Cryptocurrencies on cTrader failed to receive quotes. The issue was fixed and further steps were taken to prevent the same issue from occurring in the future. Only a few traders were affected and nearly all of the cases have been settled already.

Lastly, I would like to apologize for not responding to some of the private messages here in due time. I have been quite busy recently and do not check the private messages here very often. I always appreciate your feedback and if you wish to address me privately, I will gladly reply to you, but please send us an email to [email protected] and reference ForexFactory and my name to get the email transferred to me. As we want to keep our communication organized, we strongly prefer that communication channel to any other. Thank you for your understanding.

Hi Lain7123, in simple terms, a liquidity provider is the entity that is providing the prices for the charts and executes the trades in the market, a broker is the entity that you have an account with and provides a complete technical solution for you so you can trade. Most brokers use external liquidity providers.
We do not use any third-party brokers and have our own FTMO Platform instead, for which we use a pool of multiple liquidity providers. We offer accounts on MT4, MT5, or cTrader.
Back when we used to depend on other brokers, there were many delays in the processing of our traders' requests and other issues, so we decided to discontinue the cooperation with external brokers and focus only on our own solution instead.

Hello Swing4Fence, I’ve checked the particular EURCAD spike from the 2nd of April on our platform & with other brokers as well. The situation has occurred with all the brokers I’ve been checking, including the ones you’ve mentioned in your post.
The reason why you do not see the spike on the chart is due to the chart settings. If you change the chart settings from area to bars or candles, you’ll see a near identical spike. I’ve also attached a screenshot from TradingView as well, now changed to the bar chart.
From what I’ve seen, the spike has usually reached the level of around 1.48040, so our platform is not an exception there.
I’m sorry to hear that the sudden whipsaw closed you out of your trade, however, the spike occurred across many markets at many brokerages and the received Datafeed is correct. Actually, on the 2nd of April, certain spikes at 15:30 platform time have occurred on all EUR Forex pairs, most definitely caused by Non-Farm Employment Change.

Hi Ia1979, extremely fast scalping used to be an issue a while back. With the current live execution model, the issue is no longer relevant, which, as I can see, you got confirmed by our support agent as well.
While our Challenges, Verifications, and FTMO Accounts have been running on live execution model for quite a long time already, we did have a true demo execution (instant fills without any slippages) on our Free Trials for a brief period of time. I’m not exactly sure when was the change done to Free Trials, but I can confirm that all our accounts – Free Trials, FTMO Challenge, Verifications, and FTMO Accounts – run on a live execution model.

Hello again Saxio, the Max Loss limit of 10% is being counted from the initial capital. That means if you’d increase your balance on a $100,000 account to $120,000, you could now afford to lose up to $30,000 overall (assuming you would not exceed the Max Daily Loss) before breaching the Max Loss.

Hi Mtako, your profits, whether closed or floating, are considered in your Loss limits. If you are in a $2,000 floating/closed profit, the limit is increased by $2,000 for the rest of the day. Naturally, if you lose $2,000, your Permitted loss for the rest of the day will decrease by those $2,000. Just keep in mind that the Max Daily Loss resets to the default value every day at midnight CE(S)T (01:00 platform time).
From our experience, we know that revenge trading is quite prevalent and thus we try to protect our traders by setting a 5% Max Daily Loss to help them avoid the situation. We want to work with mature and disciplined traders and believe that staying within this limit should not be a problem.

Hello Sangocou5, if there are any open trades that were not executed by yourself, I would suspect an EA you might be using. To prevent any accidental actions, our employees generally have the access to the investor password only, so any trade execution on the client’s account coming from us is out of the question. As the login credentials are no longer sent via email, a virtual security breach is also highly unlikely.
If you have reported the case to us and the investigation has already been closed, I’m sure we have provided a further explanation to you.
If you believe an error might have been made, feel free to email us and request your email to be transferred to Tomas referencing the ForexFactory so I can review your case further.


And yet again, we find ourselves at the end of the update. If some of you noticed that my posts are not as extensive as they used to be, you are correct. I believe most of the traders here are already familiar with how does FTMO, so there are not as many general questions as before.
The second factor is how busy I've recently become. During the whole week, there's not much time left for anything, however, we do consider this forum as our closest connection to the trading community, and hence very important.

Thanks for confirming Tomas. I will try the EA out on the free trial and FTMO challenge one more time and if it works on the free trial, it should also work fine on the challenge.

Do you get next try for free (I read on their web site if you are in plus at the challange you get another try for free)? I passed one trial this week and if I passing the next trial I will try the challenge.

no, i violated the max daily loss so i have to get another challenge all together. your trial looks okay but you need to make $5000 so keep going until you reach that, its no point in starting a challenge if u cant reach that level yet.
