Your maximum was 33.584.

You set Buy Stop at 33.610. There are 26 pips difference.

So, did you pick that because of those "BUY STOP LEVELS (10 AND 20)" mentioned before at #591 ? Or because of the previous Daily High ?

Friend not like to place order to score round number ... so my order was 33.610

Buy stops levels 10 e 20

hummmmm i guess yesterday was atypical day for US30. The ADR was 186.

At the end of the day it activated my SELL STOP.

So, I have deleted the BUY STOP and I let the sell trade running, let's see how that will finish.

See friend, you touched on the subject and today what I've been talking about has happened. Price set the SELL STOp entry at 33.420 and went to the round number 33.400

IT IS NOT A RULE, BUT THE BEST ENTRIES ARE.

1) BUY STOP ENTRIES
1-A) PRICE ABOVE OPENING PRICE
2-B) PENDING ENTRIES AT LEVELS 10 OR 20, WITH SUGGESTED TP, AT LEVELS 80 OR 90, TO NOT FACE THE ABOVE ROUND NUMBER.

2) SELL STOP INPUTS
2-A) PRICE BELOW THE OPENING PRICE
2-B) PENDING ENTRIES AT LEVELS 90 OR 80, WITH SUGGESTED TP, AT LEVELS 20 AND 10, NOT TO FACE THE ROUND NUMBER BELOW.

IT IS NOT A RULE, BUT THESE ENTRIES HAVE A GREATER PROBABILITY TO FLOW.

For two reasons

1º) I don't like to leave pending orders for the end of the day. Today the price was very much coming and going.

2º) I don't like a pending order that attacks the round number. see my comment # post 707.

Friend, I don't want to mix fundamental analysis with the method I published here, because my method is exclusively technical.

I didn't want to talk about Fundamental analysis, but reading big on the subject this week, Bank of America made a statement that stock prices are too high.

I have been sold in an operation since yesterday.

A friend asked me, why do I talk so much about the opening price of the D1 candle.?

I answered:

You can see that the opening price serves as a wall ... it went up, we only buy and down, we only sell. But you see, that after the price goes to one side, the opening price serves as a wall, it creates a resistance, so the price does not go back to the other side. (just look at the broker's 21:00 today), price tried to pass up and failed, clearly saying that "we want to go down !!!"

The opening price of the D1 candle anticipates how it will close. If the price is below the close, we will have a red candle, if above, we will have a very obvious green one (laughs) ... This anticipates what we can do in the future, just a tip. What do you mean, anticipate the future? I already had a topic in which I said that when a D1 candle has its red closure for the first time that it has changed ,,,, the probability of the next day's D1 candle, closing red is very big, but that is another conversation.

Note: just one more tip. See that the opening price of the WEEKLY candle (W1) was 33.270. This value is important, because if we have the price by Friday closing a weekly candle below 33.270, we may have next week, a week of low.

Are you using SL = 20 pips from the open price OR 33 pips from the order (TP = 100 pips) ?

Dear friend, It all depends on where the price is. I like quick operations. For you to have an idea, I have made trades with 20 pips of stop loss and 10 pips of TP (quick profit in the pocket). If you have time, take a look at the pending orders placed every day and see how many you would have lost and won by placing 20 pips of stop and 10 pips of TP. The suggestions I give here are to make the operator think and not to wait for indicator signals. The market is not easy. We have a great method here, it is enough for each operator to have discipline and do a good Risk x Reward Management.
