Suppose someone comes along and is able to match your ROI. Someone totally trustworthy.

Would you hand over your account to him/her to do the trading instead? Ignore the costs you have to pay to him/her, assume the net gains would be the same as if you were the one doing the trading.

Do you like to trade? Or do you trade only to make money?

Well Trading invlolves lots of maths. Its like Aerospace playing with numbers and airhostesses oooh baby you dont want to know what goes there.

In Aeroplane also same stuff applies. You have to balance it out with intense controls to make it out

So its good

Ok See you

the idea of traditional trading by watching the hours and news feeds is incredibly boring, to the point of being mind numbing

i would 'like to trade' if i could just dump a trillion on a weak zone and watch the sheep panic, but alas

thats why i never rarely tell about it- the idea is alluring but the reality is a press puncher

and money is a cruel b, a dance with the devil, good luck
grist for the mill

I like to trade. And making money. It's like getting paid to do what I love.
I once programmed a robot to trade for me. Then I realized I outperformed my own EA while trading in a separate account . So I decided to drop it and trade for my self.
Play the hand you were dealt.

Hell no & the dark side of trading:
In every competition, or sport
I'm sure 70% of people who understand the game, hate it.
People who go through Chinese water torture in markets in any respect of the following either being coaching, trading, or thinking of finance, have something off with how their brains are wired. It may be from a silent amount of beatings and basement time from an abusive step father, or a trauma much deeper in the recesses of their mind.
I have a very shrewd& businesslike demeanor, and when I mean business, I mean I just show up to collect money. Everything else, including trading, is such a waste of time. "How's the weather?" Go f*ck yourself.
The only people to show up as fans are people who don't know what the hell is going on, where imagination and folktales are a thing. Where growth and prosperity and adventure call onto the young... but reality is very different. And it's very boring at a competitive level of understanding. And if you would understand... you wouldn't even show up to such an event.

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2139434-athletes-who-arent-fans-of-sports

One day you will look onto your American football hero watching from afar, while he is being tackled in 10 degree weather, without you actually empathizing or being aware of what's going on. He will win a championship and you will be like "you did it, man, all of that sacrifice and hard work and sweat." The guy in uniform would actually carry a blank stare devoid of his very own soul as he carries onto making the next hard life decision of what's for dinner.

A lot of people will never understand it, but hey innocence is good, you should keep it at all costs. If anyone asks you to trade ANY of your time for money, no matter what amount... you should probably run away and forge berries or something. You're better off in the long run. And I'm not trying to hear any of the, you're so lucky and you're better off than everyone(that's just not the real world and you probably lack empathy and have some serious envy problems when telling any random person that.) Like I said, it's being tackled in 10 degree weather. That's what trading is like. I legitimately transfer all of this energy, effort and intelligence, to my wife painting her nails schedule. Guys who don't get the bag will not understand what I just said. I get blasted for other's innocent amusement. That's the kind of guy I grew up into though, just trying to do my part and copy Jesus Christ. Give thanks

I love not just trading, I love the way I feel when trading. I am confident, have a result and feeling well.
Provide someone my account for trading, probably not,
invest in self development, certainly yes.

Absolutely, this is also why you see so many athletes who do not fulfill their potential.

Manual trading, doing it the right way, its boring as hell !! and it doesn't matter what "time frame" you use, what "strategy" you like to use, you have to wait.. and wait, and wait some more until you can finally pull the trigger and move on

I DO find trading boring, and i personally HATE to be in front of the screen all morning just waiting for a signal (even more when its a crappy day with no signals ugh), i have 2 screen and im always watching crap on YouTube, or the same old recycled things on TV until the alert pops up, click buy or sell and move one with my life; my happy moment its exactly when i click, the order its placed and im free to get up and live my life.. i dont even care what happens anymore (almost he he, but you get the point) with a trade, i know that, over a series of trade, im always end positive enough that i can withdraw money at the end

The "excitement" about trading eventually wears off, I DO like to trade, but the process its boring and annoying to say the least no matter how you do it;

So suppose you derive $x profits every month. If someone is willing to generate that amount for you, would you stop trading?

interesting.. but honestly i would pass on that offer because i dont need it anymore, i mean trading its boring but i still like it, its just the waiting part that annoys me; Currently im half way of coding a robot the same way I trade; right now im testing it as an "indicator" and so far so good (wasn't easy since I had ZERO coding knowledge and barely a bit more right now xD) Hope i can have a final version this week

after that its full on, all out war!! full london/new york session and a lot more instruments running and never miss a beat; and THATS the beauty of an automated "strategy": it will trade far better, longer, accurate than you could possibly do it

BUT

thats asuming you had a good, repeatable and profitable approach to trading in the first place.. and then transform it into an expert advisor =)

I like learning to trade, not trade practically. It makes me tired, i wish could change my system into an EA, (but thats not posible) or someone i could trust enough so he could trade for me.
Nothing to learn here

You need a systematic approach with a proven edge that the price will move in your direction (how much its a different subject).. if you dont have it right now, then you dont have a consistent way of making money trading, you are just getting random results in every trade =)

Right down how you trade, step by step, and take a screenshot of your entry's for a series of trades (at least 20) so that way you can confirm how disciplined you are AND test your your chart reading skills

Btw everything its in the candles.. learn to read them and you will make it

NO. Like others have said, the learning is the fun part of it. I actually went through a period of drift when I realized there was nothing practical left to learn. Now, during the weekend, I will look back at all the rabbit holes I went down and I think to myself, wow. Some of the things I tried were just ridiculous. Astro finance had to be the worst. Learning how to code every indicator known to man was the second worst, as I was not aware that every occilator is based on the moving average of price in some way. When it did click, it truly became a job, and a mind numbingly boring one at that. Oddly enough, now that I can trade at will, I don't do it as much.
