2 trades today so far. eur/cad for breakeven with half position takeprofit and was expecting to move higher but it didnt. Also a small scalp on 5 min xau/usd {image} {image}

Your entry on EURCAD was not good. You should enter at the upper line of demand zone or lower. Your entry was very late.
If you had entered lower, this trade would have been a winning trade and actually you could get more than 1:1.

Your trade on Gold was very good. You should go for more than 1:1 when you have the opportunity.
I think you had the opportunity to go for more than 1:1 on gold.
Gold is volatile market and is offering us some good trading opportunities lately.

Best Regards,
George

your right, entry was a bit high, this account with this broker the spreads are pricy for most pairs. Trading results for today. Best sup/dem indicator, I dont have to draw anymore lines and squares

That's pretty good for the first time using

I was hoping to see some charts, e.g. I did ask for the NZDCAD yesterday

I looked at the AUDUSD trade, not sure about the exact time it happened

But the mind boggles; when 5.4 pips return 4%, look how much you left behind

Are you reviewing your trade setup at all? It's not as if you traded from one level to another level

Are you just looking for pure scalp trades? I'm thinking 1 hour would be the ideal level, any examples for that?

Cheers

But then looking at GBPUSD trade, hang in there for 10 hours to get 22 pips with a 7.1% return

definitely not a scalp, what was the trade plan there?

appears to be entry very early Asian session with an exit during Europe session

your thoughts?

I do take half off and let the rest run on alot of my trades and I should've done that for that particular trade (5min) since there wasn't any fresh higher timeframe level until further down, but i just wanted to lock in some profit. The Gbp trade just took a long time to meet my takeprofit and it was based on 30min chart.

We are day traders and it is very important to find a broker with the lowest spreads possible otherwise spreads and commission are going to wipe out all our profits.

{quote} Thank you for your good words. On Friday the new update with Alerts feature, when price enters a zone, will be available so stay tuned.
Ignored

About the Alerts function -

I assume it gives Alerts for the selected time frame no matter what time frame the chart is open on, eg. the chart is 4 Hours but will alert for 1 hour and 15 min?

Can you show an example of the Alerts pop-up box and the chart when they happen?

I would like what the Zone looks like, do you enter at that point when there may only be 2 bars, or is it best to let it move away and set a retracement entry?

Cheers

Hello doubletop,

The updated version with the new Alert feature is available on MQL5 market. It is free for people that already own the indicator.
Also i plan to create a video displaying the features of the indicator. Stay tuned.

I commented this post earlier but for some reason i see that it was deleted. Maybe because forexfactory is doing maintenance today as i can see.

Best Regards,
George

The size of the zone is only 1.2 pips. The size of the zone is too small. The minimum size you should trade is 4-5pips if spread is lower than 1pip.
If spread is 1pip then then the minimum size you should trade is 7-9pips.
Also if spread is 2pips then then the minimum size you should trade is 16-18pips.
You should adapt your minimum trading zone size according to your spreads otherwise spreads and commissions are going to
wipe out all your profits.

Best Regards,
George

Updated version of MTF Supply Demand indicator is now available on MQL5 market. The main difference is the new alert feature. Now you are able to get alerts when price hits a Supply or Demand Zone. That makes a big difference in trading. Check the photo below.
