Hi Yonnie. To be clear, I wasn't advocating trading with indicators at all. I never had any success with them either. I'm afraid you missed the whole point of my post. The point was that whatever your system, there should be a knob you can turn to take fewer but better trades when the system is running cold and more trades with less stringent criteria when the system is running hot. So if you were trading trendlines (for example only, don't take this as a recommendation) maybe when the system is running hot you take any trade with two or more touches of the trendline, but when the system is running cold, you require 3 or more touches of the trendline. Of course, for this to work, the entry criteria must be very definitive, objective and repeatable. Subjective trading systems are very unreliable in my experience. Best Success! - G

I got you the first time G.......I was meaning to point out that I dont trade with indicators, so I have no experience trading with them......sorry if that came over wrong....I`m sure some people can make a killing trading with indicators, but I`m not one of them.....as for your examples, by all means have a look at historical data to see if your theories have any merit.......

Not much, have a lot of work those days and I have not thought too much in Forex, just let the EA runs. Was a good week for the strategy, but the big loose is comming hahaha

I don't like Demo accounts, I'm not recommended, better a small Real account to experiment

By statistics, next week the strategy will reach the maximum of winning trades in a row, so it is likely that we will see the first BIG loss next week.

So far, a nice 73% ... Happy weekend
