Totally agree with you on that money management thing!

But Iam just trying to understand the way you trade this system!
That's why Iam asking all these questions. And I thought there is a reason behind it, why you went only for 40 points instead of the regular 50. Maybe a specific level of interest, support or resistance or whatever kind of technical analysis I haven't seen...

At the end it sounds like you are just happy with 40 points on a monday afternoon (at least afternoon here in germany )

my TP at entry 32.650 was only 40 pips for two reasons

1st reason) My Stop was 32.573 (20 pips below the opening price). So my stop was 77 pips only (see that I already talked about having at least a 50% TP)

2nd reason) I like to put my TPs in order not to face the round numbers ... the price was going in the direction of 32.700, so I like to put it before. see what price was up to 32.697 and came back.

Taking the opportunity to see a little more of what I do.

The price, as I said, was up to 32.697, making a new high.

So what did I do?

I put a BUY STOP at 32.710 and see the result. + 80 pips. This asset, we have to go eating piece by piece of the cake.

If the piece is too big, we can choke.

maybe this post should be posted on 1st page, so new to this thread knows what is the new strategy, I followed 1st page stops on 200pips, 50pips tp, 100pips sl, luckily tp hit..

Hi, interesting method. By 16:00 broker time do you mean 13:00 GMT / 08:00 EST (ie. US Market open) ? And by open price do you mean the price at 22:00 GMT / 17:00 EST (ie close of US market). Thanks

@Andy,I think the 16:00 brokers time works at his local time.I have archives from my broker from.2015 to 2021 and I can tell you with authority that by 16:00 GMT the action on the market is already gone.14:30 GMT is the best to draw your Daily HH and LL.

When you read the post from the beginning he gave an indicator that gives the daily open.I will entreat you to download that indicator and add to your trading chat

The indicator has a time delta value so you can set to any hour. As we are all in different timezones I am trying to work out exactly what time "open" is and "16:00". All brokers differ so you can't say "broker time" otherwise the method will create different trades in different timezones

I use the default time of the Indicator as daily open.And it's normally 1:00 am GMT.
Just check your Broker server time or better still look at your MT4 above the Market watch list. This is your broker's time. I use ICmarket +3 GMT/UTC

I think there's knowledge in what you just said .So the forex1x8 should kindly tell us which time zone is his broker so that people can calculate it in their own brokers time zone but for me the 1:00 am GMT and 14:30 H and L works for me checking back from the year 2015 till now
