honestly, I don't need it.

When you are disciplined, you have a proper mindset on the trading psychology, being away from the fear of the trading.
If you do not need it, well, then no one is stopping you.

but why being afraid of trading in the first place ? I think you are risking too much (bad plan).

If you have a good EA you might not need discipline. But if your manual trading discipline is probably essential.

Some people struggle with discipline more than others. Everyone is different. In your case if you have a good risk management plan and you do not struggle with that then good on you, but saying you don't need it is not actually true, you are using discipline without even realizing it.

most of the traders we have always believe only good knowledge and experience can bring good amount of profit but in practical satiation is totally different , if there is no regular discipline of trading any kind of trading knowledge or plan can be useless.

I call it believing in what you do, having faith that it is going to work. discipline sounds more like " stick to the plan no matter what", even if you are only losing... maybe I'm wrong.

what do you mean i don't understand with the "stars". Discipline it is an important factor, but it also requires knowledge, not discipline is just something to be ignored.

Traders need the discipline in order to follow their plans.
So many people are really good at making the plans, but not all of them are good in following their plans. It reminds me of different plannings and methods of quitiing smoking. Everybody understands that smoking is harmful, also everybody has an idea of how to do that, but not all of the smokers have the discipline that will make them follow their plans and intentions. The same thing is about trading. No matter how great your plan is, it is only a plan if you don't follow it to achieve your goals. There are so many temtations on the market to lose all the money which boost your feelings of fear and greed. These emotions are so dangerous for your budget and if you don't have enough discipline to cope with them and make your common sense make decisions, the chances are that you loose all the money within short period of time.
Discipline is necessary of traders and investors in order to keep their trading and investing under control of brains and logic rather than under control of heart and emotions.
