Hi,
I was playing around with a strategy I found somewhere, and since I coded an indicator specifically for it, I might as well share it here. It's probably been made before, but I searched and didn't find it, so here goes:
It simply displays when 3 MAs of your choice are in agreement.
So when, say the 10EMA, 50EMA, and 200SMA are all pointing up, it shows green. When they're all pointing down, it shows red. And when they are not in agreement, it displays gray.
You can choose to display the arrows when there's a first color change.
This is exactly like having the 3 MA's on screen, only here the advantage is that you can clear up your screen because less lines, and it's easier to see when all MAs are moving in the same direction.
The strategy was mainly go long when 3 are up, and short when 3 are down. Looked good on the video, when I backtested it my god is it bad. That's what I initially thought, but now I know ^^.
Have fun if you want.
