I could re-create your problem with the CCIEntry setting 0 and 1.

But, you can try load the EU setfile in your EJ chart and run .

Then check through each and every of the setting in your EJ pair.

This quoted post is a great one, it gives me an idea about strategy with this EA.

Lots of talk here in this 130 pages thread about small incremental config for the EA, but the overall use of this EA is still not clear for me even after reading almost half of this thread.

Let's take a specific example, if I have 2000$ with an ECN broker. How many pairs should be traded at once? Which ones?

If that 2000$ is making profit and becomes 3000$, should I add more pairs?

That 2000$ if lost is not the end of the world for me, but it would end my interest in Forex. ( I already lost 14k in the last 6 months).

Thanks for any insight.

I did some backtesting with Blessing 3.9.6.21 with the set file attached (got it from this thread).

It seems like a very conservative set file which is not a bad thing.

Tested period is from March 1st 2020 till March 14th 2021, with 99.9% accuracy, the only pair that wipes out the account is GBPUSD.

If I take all 7 pairs the these results and merge them together with this tool: MT4 Back Test Report Merger - MT4-Forex-EA.com (mt4-forex-ea.com)

I get :

The maximal combined DD during this period with 7 pairs combined is 638$... which seems weird because I had larger DD with individual pairs.

What am I doing wrong here?

To avoid big DD, it would be great to disable multiplier for the trades within the grid block

Great. Only programmer familiar with the codes may do it. Are you a programmer?
We do need programmers to correct some bugs in the existing codes (especially for the new variants of blessing3).

Has anyone tried indices trading on IC?
My EA (MT4 blessing3) is not taking any indices trade (tried different lots and spreads). I got a reply: “From the MT4 the minimum lot size client can operate for the indices is 1 lot and from the MT5 the minimum is 0.10 lots.”
It seems no auto trade allowed for indices (blessing MT4 on IC) (no error message). Tried manual enter buy/sell indices and was OK (similar situations with several other brokers).
Tried auto trade indices with blessing3 MT5 and only sometimes OK (not working fully; checked with another broker). It seems this broker’s MT5 platform has not been fully tuned for auto trading indices.
I do notice there are many more options for trading indices and international shares (CFD) on MT5. Guess they will only put new instruments on MT5 from now on.

Hi, I am just running the EA in live account with HF zero spread account. The symbol is EURUSDb. The EA didn't open second position when price has reached the grid distance to call for second position. Is anyone know how to fix it? Your help is much appreciated. Thank you.

Novice programmer can do that. Just modify Factor equation (line 5229) in mq4

Thanks. I normally don’t touch source codes if not familiar with them.
I have been trading with an old version Blessing3 (older than the version on the first page of the thread).
Attempt to “upgrade” at some stage. But, gave up after running some tests on new versions - either there are “bugs” or no significant “gain”.
Not “comfortable” to trade with an EA if there are bugs. I normally have 8~10 EAs on each trading account. So, an EA must be stable and robust. Otherwise, managing EAs is a headache (need an EA to monitor EAs?).
I used Richard’s version 15 (version 18) for StrategicTester, which is fast and very useful. I noticed this EnableOncePerBar feature has been absorbed into later versions (e.g., version 21). However, I did find “bugs” on v15 and v18, and may post the results later.
Would be great If some programmer can help to fix these bugs. Send me a private message if anyone can.

I'm trying your set file now and also had some impressive results, although its only been two days.

My broker only allows 1 minimum lot size for NAS100 so the margin requirement is huge, any chance you feel like optimising US500 as well? 1 lot size requires far less margin than NAS100 and moves roughly the same, so I imagine you would mostly have to change the pip sizes to make it match

Having some good success on a demo with Blessing v3.9.6.09, trialling various set files. Does anyone have any good strategies for preventing trades staying open over the weekend? At the moment I just switch to stop trading to true on a Friday morning, which usually works but feels a bit clumsy.

Running this EA on 2 of my real accounts (1 in Hotfx, 1 in Icmarkets) in more than 1yr. Apply to 3 pairs at the same time, same H1 time frame UF/EF/EU.
It's true profit (of course sometime I have to deposit more to handle the strong trend, or sometime cut small lost by hand when trend reversal). So far I am happy with it, my Hotfx account even > x3 during the time. It helps me stop a lost series due to manual trading (with so much of emotional)

I test Blessing last build only sell or long. Found maybe a bug on sell it's not multiplier orders. Make one sell and wait to lost or market change.

► ► A good BackTest, Requires at least 5 years, not 1 year. You caught the trend of those pairs in 2020. That's why they came out like this
