UPDATE

I made another (more precise) drawing which caused the horizontal being a few pips higher. I'm very impressed by the results. We shall soon see if resistance continues to hold.

Nice Gartley on Cable yesterday, and again today for the second trade south...up over 100 pips atm but could bounce from here as the end of the pattern comes into view. Note todays collapse at the guess what??? the Becks favorite 52 degree test....

as ever beautiful illustration

is your example on the dayly chart by any chance? as i recall you would sqaure the dayly - my reasoning for asking is the sqaured chart being thrown on time frame transition and as too how that may or may not affect becks emblem

is there any way you know of doing this on trading view

Sorry, that’s 1 hour time frame for day trading, squeezed up to nearly maximum. I find the angles pretty accurate but wouldn’t pull the trigger without tight stops. I use an ea for hidden stops (when taking larger portions)that cannot be seen by the broker whereas when taking smaller mini lots I seldom use a stop except I have a rule, I manually close if it goes against me by 20 pips, seldom does if analyses done correctly.

Did u try searching in Tradingview for Becks...I know I saw it there once.

But what one has to realize is this trade would not have been taken without confluence and you have lots of it here. Black line is the Big Round Number, Yellow line is the Weekly Pivot, The Gartley Pattern, the Dollar Index weakness and so on...then to compliment it all is the price action pinbar at resistance and the pullback....these are the kind of trades one can take to the bank....and I do like Bank Deposits instead of withdrawals lol lol

hello sweede thanks for your detailed well explained post - no need to apologise your posts are always of highest quality- and an enjoyable and facinating read

ever thankful you take time out your own life to provide clear and sound illustrations with bullet points i was only asking time frame in the sense of if i were to aproach the method myself and how reliable and viable using mt4 is

ive not yet played or searched trading view really i guess im just looking for a little guidance as to if its imperative - which from how i interpret
what your saying its not critical your just using it as another layer of confluence as you clearly pointed out

on the topic of ea with hidden from broker stop is this to limit spread gapping by the broker? i do recall a discussion with some one i came across that had i belive an ea that manufactured his stops based upon price passing not spread with what you said and i dare say you might hash over this point a little more as it certainly seems something to be well aware of ill perhaps look at both alternatives

Great work jeanlouie...I find the emblem works well right out of the box and I do not adjust much. Example below was a "no brainer" entry with tons of confluence, 61.8 fib retrace, 52 degree offset from impusle wave, big round number and above everything else the Completed Gartly.... Im finding I use just the square a lot with the 90 degree and 45 degree offset....the circle and becks is bonus...

sorry too bother you is this possible on free trading view ? and how did you go about sqauring and the like just hovering around page one and im just thinking to give this a fair go - which i fully intend to do ( may take me some time as im proberly the stupidest person who is going to be willing to try )

just after some opinions on in the sense of at some point ill proberly look at paying for some of the software referenced hear if i can get around it for the most part with trading view then ill do that wilst im in lets call it my incubation phase .

Hello, new member here. Really got a lot of insight from you guys, I want to start my journey in trading and hopefully this could be what I've been looking for from long time ago, learning something that could help my cognitive function (I've been reaaaaaly slow and forgetful one last year) and if this thing makes money, I guess that would be win-win.

I haven't tried forex yet but I'm already playing crypto. I discovered Beck Ross and still trying to make sense the content of his book about Gartley. So far I finally understood a little about Elliot wave.
