We all know about the volatility of the US30 asset. I will leave a simple way to operate this asset every day.
As soon as we open the US30 asset market we will take the opening price and place 02 pending orders, being.
200 pips above the opening price (BUY STOP)
200 pips below the opening price (SELL STOP)
I'll leave a template ready with the Daily open line indicator and Expert Esike.
In my template I put a suggestion of:
Stop 100 pips
Tp 50 pips
TS 35 pips guarantees 2 pips of profit
Today opening price was 31.564
BUY STOP 31.764
SELL STOP 31.364
We had the victory at the sell stop

Visual backtesting is good, let's see what forward testing brings about.

I have done a visual and backtest of this strategy from 04/01 until today 2/3. Sometimes there are days in which orders are not opened.

It is not an accurate backtest, but we have had two SL of 100 pips and 22 TP of 50 pips for a total of 900 pips in two months.

I don´t have calculated TS.

It should be very interesting if somebody may do an EA do a backtest more accurately.

Basically, this is a strategy that functions and surely can be improved.

isnt it better to just take a chance towards long or short and than tp 100 pips sl 35 pips?

35 pips SL are too tight for such volatility assets as this.

At 16:00 of own broker, there is high volatility and 35 pips of stop-loss can be caught easily.

I follow this asset always, every day. It might be a good thing to do the following: Divide the batch into two entries.
STOP 100 pips
1st TP 50 pips
2nd TP 200 pips / 150 pips or 100 pips
2nd entry with 50 pips TS.
Arriving at 50 pips will close Tp of the 1st entry and the 2nd protected entry.

Does the opening price varies from broker to broker? For me the Candle opened at 31413. I use ICMarkets EU.

I noticed here ... really Ic markets 31.413 (difference 7 pips)
I use Valutrades yesterday opening 31.564
Yesterday Ic markets opening 31.567
I believe that the difference being small, will not have problems
