no i don't think i ever experienced more than 36 to 38 degrees here in my life. probably in germany temperatures never climbed higher than 40°. don't know if i myself experienced higher temperatures. maybe in italy when in holidays, many years ago..

Thanks man, nature here is fantastic. But having been to Rome, The Vatican, Firenze, and Venezia I would say Italy has got the best man-made wonders of the world, I mean seeing Firenze for the first time brought tears to my eyes

Wow, you sure follow football closely to know that. My team just beat Hoffenheim (sorry to the Germans in here) in Europa League. They also were in Champions League back in 1999-2000. Pretty good for a town of 30.000 inhabitants

Great... i think i recommended this movie here in the journal some weeks ago? now please your turn, give me a good italian movie recommendation.. two movies i remember as good – "La doppia ora" and "la sconosciuta".. you know them, brixen?

Today, Ionian sea, South Italy, 22° degrees.....here below!

But there aren't only roses: huge unemployment, real unemployment not what official data says, specially among youngsters, underpaid people and desperate people and families are increasing a lot here! and also for this reason there are guys running a large family trading everyday this wild DAX horse......
Anyway no complaints for me, I wake up and I go ahed as I did every day so far!

Yes, amazing, if you compare for instance vs Napoli, that has 100 times population than Molde and went out Europa League last thursday......

There are tons of pics and talks about football on my journals FX Mars.......I grew up with football in the streets and rock'n'roll...

I will start 1st of all with legendary black & white movies: Ladri di biciclette (Bycicle Thieves) a cruel real story...but even actual these days!!!
for those in search for fast and easy money, but probably they will not understand! Then look at IL SORPASSO and MIRACOLO A MILANO.
Next I will suggest some modern movie too.

Movie plot :

Rome, after World War II.
Antonio Ricci, an unemployed, finds work as a municipal attacker.
To work, however, he must own a bicycle and his is committed to the Monte di Pietà,
so his wife Maria is forced to pledge the sheets to redeem it.
On the very first day of work, however, while he tries to paste a movie poster, his bicycle is stolen.
Antonio chases the thief, but to no avail.
Having gone to report the theft to the police, he realizes that the police for that small and common theft will not be able to help him.
Back home embittered, he realizes that the only possibility is to go in search of the bicycle himself.
He then asks for help from one of his party mates, who mobilizes his fellow garbage collectors with whom, at dawn, together with his son Bruno, who works in a petrol station, he goes to look for his bicycle: first in Piazza Vittorio and then to Porta Portese, where stolen items are usually resold.
However there is nothing to do: the bicycle, probably by now dismembered in its parts, is nowhere to be found.

Right at Porta Portese, Antonio recognizes the thief in the company of an old homeless man, immediately losing sight of him.
The old man also wants to escape Ricci, who follows him to a soup kitchen, where ladies of charity of the Roman pious bourgeoisie distribute soup to the hungry who participate in the religious service.
The man claims to be accompanied by the homeless man to the thief's house but, taking advantage of his distraction, the old man runs away.
Having lost all hope, Antonio even turns to a "holy woman", a sort of seer who welcomes a varied, afflicted and unfortunate humanity into his home; but the woman's cryptic response is almost a mockery.
Immediately afterwards, only by chance, Antonio runs into the culprit again in a disreputable district, where, however, all the inhabitants firmly take the thief's defense, threatening the robbed.
Not even a carabiniere, finding no concrete evidence, can do anything to arrest the culprit.
Overwhelmed by fatigue, Antonio and Bruno wait for the tram to go home, when Antonio notices an unattended bicycle and, taken by desperation, clumsily tries to steal it, but is immediately stopped and attacked by passers-by.
Only the desperate cry of his son, who moves those present to pity, avoids him from prison.
Bruno shakes his father's hand and the two go away in the crowd, while the evening falls over Rome.

Movie plot :

In Rome, on the morning of August 15, 1962, the city is deserted.

During the journey to the north and to the sea, they will also come to visit some of Roberto's relatives, first, and then Bruno's daughter and ex-wife.

The young Roberto will be on the verge of abandoning Bruno several times, but both chance and a certain unspeakable attraction, masked by a certain complacency, will keep the assorted couple of occasional friends together, which will also mean for Roberto a path of initiation into life .
In fact, he moves away from the myths and fears of his youth and begins the re-reading of his family relationships, love and social relationships, until the tragic conclusion that materializes during yet another reckless overtaking: to avoid the frontal impact with a truck , Bruno swerves violently to the left and ends up hitting a curbstone.
On impact, Bruno jumps out of the car thus managing to save himself, while Roberto loses his life ending up off a cliff.
Given the limited time spent with the boy, Bruno will confess to the intervening agents that he does not even know his surname.

(Unfortunately or fortunately, we are among the 127 recovered: my father and I.
Resigned from the hospital and monitored in tampons for suspected contact with a positive operator, he manifested in early January:
my mother together with my care given to the patient in the home post hospitalization will turn off the Rt of contagion from one to zero.
3 doctors and 10 nurses would be infected by that operator in the cardiology department of the provincial hospital, as reported by the local newspaper ...
... creating a problem for patients and an initial Rt of at least 14.
Result: my father and I healed, my mother always negative and my brother as well.
Father and mother over eighty still waiting for the first vaccine, at home)

Not an easy period for you and your family but luckily it seems behind you. And then your mum too fortunately had no involvement.
But your dad may have the vaccine soon after he healed?
