Be free from the expectation that you will get any amount of it back.

how I became emotionless in my learning stages was by losing money, each time I lose a trade I become more and more emotionless to the point where if I lose $1000 right no I wouldn't feel anything. now when I'm trading and I'm confident of the set up that I see and I take the trade and set my stop loss here it suppose to be I go and enjoy my day and check up on it like every now and then to see if I can move my stop loss to breakeven (I'm not a scalper). you have to lose money to become emotionless.

Make sure that you use correct risk management and then losses do not hurt so much. Also avoid greed.

If you want to trade, you have to give up emotions first. You can never make a profit in trading without giving up emotion. Beginner traders tend to be more emotional. If you want to give up emotions, you have to maintain discipline first. If we go disciplined by ourselves, then the emotion will work less. And you have to do regular meditation. Meditation clears the mind and removes the negative mindset.

What would you call correct risk management?

It is never possible to trade with emotions. A person who trades with emotions will never be able to become a profitable trader. New traders usually do emotional trading. I have observed traders who have not been successful even after trading for a long time. Because they had a lot of emotion in their trading. So every trader should give up emotional trading.

Emotions will get involved in trading one way or the other. It is also not an easy task to control our emotions so what we can do is to make a good preparation with a trading plan. By doing this we will stick to the rules of trading thus not letting emotions sway our judgment.

Trading in the market with emotion can be very dangerous. If you want to become a good trader you have to control your emotions. You can control your emotions by practicing on a demo account more and more. It will help you to get confidence and trade fearlessly.

Emotions are what make us humans. It is part of us & what we should be trying to do is how to make our trading strategy as mechanical as possible. If your strategy requires you to enter a trade only after 3 conditions are met, then tell yourself that you'll enter only if those conditions are met, deliberately practice this for some days & it'll become part of your habit. Even then if it isn't working , then it must be the strategy which needs to be changed, & not emotions. Stay Human

Greed is harmful. It makes you take wrong decisions, losses follow and then one loses confidence too.

Do not risk more than you can you can afford to lose. This is my approach.

Problems start with expectation. Unrealistic expectation leads to open random trades. It creates greed in us and force ourselves to open trades even if there is no trading set up.
