Hi guys, TDA for the week ahead, feed back always welcome. EURGBP, Is at an interesting level of support, although it seams to have broken it could turn this week. If not then a continuation to the downside, next level .84875ish GBPUSD, Still very bullish on weekly and daily, possible pull back then test 1.43657 USDCNH Daily up but at slight resistance ahead, weekly produced a nice BEOB {image} {image} {image} {image} {image} {image}

be careful with CNH because this currency is highly manipulated by China goverment. Did you remember what happened with CHF few years ago?

Hi, I must say it is nice to see old grumpy(Strat) back posting on his thread, and still the same.

I often visit to see what is going on here for old times sake, as you know it is easy to see where I have been losing money lately, but I am a reformed man, no more systems for me, they are all based on the past and never work with any consistency going forward, every second in the market is unique and therefor I only now trade what I see today. There is nothing on my charts any more, I apply the things I have learned here about PASR, but much more importantly I have learned discipline and care. I read my rules every day before I look at the markets because it is so easy to just jump to conclusions about direction etc.
All this was my new year resolution and although I have had my bad days I can point to a 14% equity increase in January and 13% in February so far this month including a very bad week earlier this month.

my current belief for trading is now:

Anything can happen, the only thing in your favour is the balance of probabilities....DO THAT

Cheers and good trading to you all

hey there!

I like your routine and i will make my own after your post, which made me think about my routine and what can i improve. Re-reading rules and check charts/examples sound good idea. Routine makes the discipline and discipline makes constant profits. nice results btw. Can you please post some charts from your bad trades /earlier this month/, so people in the thread can learn from it. Maybe few wins too. Btw what time frame do you trade?

{quote} Good analysis mate! USDCNH is one of the best pairs to trade if not the best in my opinion. Long smooth trends, unfortunately my broker doesn't offer good spread for this pair during the night.

I also like it due to the long smooth trends. Thanks for the boast.

{quote} Compare current price structure to that of January to April 2018 including the BB 200ema in both areas. Regards Terry
Ignored
Attachment 3872760Thanks Terry for your support.
At first glance, it almost looks similar, with the upward push in January cutting through the BB 200 ema, then a retrace/correction the next month closing back below the 200ema. I think that is where the similarity ends, because the March candle, more like an inverted hammer, closed below the 200ema, maintaining the bearish momentum , in diadem with that the April candle fully saw the sellers overrun the market afterwards.
In the present scenario, the retrace candle last month (January) did not close below the 200ema and the prevailing candle is looking more like a Hammer and with 3 days to close of the month, its likely to close above the 200ema, which may signify the strong presence of buyers.
If this plays out as what the chart is telling us, then we only have the highs of January 2020 as a possible resistance level to look forward to for reversal PA.
Thank you

I trade H1 with confirmation of trend on 4H and D. I am just as likely to trade a retrace or with the trend. I mostly trade major dollar pairs and usually only after London open. I look at the dollar index for reference of its trend but do not trade it because of the spread.

I am trading micro lots for now on my relatively small account, targeting a percentage per week which I sometimes exceed and sometime fail to make a profit, so hopefully it works out long term, so far so good, but early days. My biggest challenge is preventing myself from trading when I cannot see any opportunity, so patience is what i am forcing myself to learn.

I keep a log of my daily analyses and trades and I do an analysis on the weekend about what might transpire in the coming week. I also look at the upcoming reports and news to see what may influence the market and when. If events or chores get in the way I don't trade.

I am not a fan of sharing screen shots of my trades good or bad, so won't be doing that, sorry.

Hello bistolis,
Can you ask me about your trading management with these long wick candles? How long have you kept your trades for so long?
Thank you very much
