I think I was lucky today. It is probably not a good idea to trade against MA200 on m15.

the bigger picture shows a downtrend and MM just use HIN to stop hunt..I actually took a short yesterday but was stopped out at b/e

I moved the stop to b/e as I have to marinate some meat for dinner later. It was just about 15 minutes in the kitchen and I got stopped out when NY open..good thing is I took 2/3 out for some profits

my second entry ended in a small loss and my 3rd entry with 50% taken out for some profits and locked in at b/e

Yes. It was against the trend on H4. I was trading intraday. and thought that the trend reversed in the short term. do you always trade only with the trend on HTF?

the day before the candle closed as a doji/spinning top..this pattern should have alerted you, the daily and htf are still in bull territory and buying the dip like when price started rejecting the 34 ema would be a good entry, always try to buy at a discount and even if it doesn't work out you won't lose too much because you bought at a discount..for price to resume the upward trend, price must close above the high of the spinning top...just my thoughts and I'm not a guru
EDit: my target for a long is on the weekly chart if I'm in a trade
