I disagree. The secret to using this EA is using it on indices, instead of on currencies. It's doing well on indices on my six-month old demo, and this week has been another profitable week

US30, AUS200, FRA40, GER30, UK100, JPN225, HK50. I have mine on H1 charts. Bear in mind your broker might have slightly different names for them, but it will be obvious which is which.

Setfile attached - ***remember to remove the '.txt' suffix to make it work***.

1. Take profit when you can get it, usually by Thursday late afternoon if the basket is good, then it should be in profit. Depending on chart structure and if you think the moves have more juice left in them, you may want to leave the basket open until Friday. I usually close all trades together as a basket, less hassle.
2. When you close the basket, remember to switch off autotrading on your terminal, or pairs may re-enter trades upon hitting relevant levels again - you don't want this to happen, as these trades may reverse because the steam has usually gone out of the move by this point.
3. Remember to re-enable trading on your terminal Sunday / Monday or Tuesday. Just make it a regular thing so you will remember.

Hi Morne,
I tried this strategy when it first came out and it didnt really go that well for me at the time. I note the pairs that you have settled on to trade, would you mind letting me see the EA settings that you are using? I would like to try it again and would appreciate the help.

Hi Paul, as the others have said both the Equity guardian and the MoTu ea have expired. I am busy managing live trades so Im pretty confused as to why this wasnt mentioned before that there is an expiry date. Could you please upload latest versions asap or let us know what is going on?

Apologies to all who have been inconvenienced by the EA expiring.

As some of you may have noticed, I haven't been on FF for a while, and while I won't go into details, this was due to a number of things conspiring to keep me from doing a lot of things I would have liked to do. Let's just say that it's been an "interesting" 6 months...

Regarding the EA expiring, that was an oversight on my part. I use a number of common routines in the coding of my EAs and indicators, and one of them contained the expiry code that I was using for another EA when it shouldn't have. I have removed the expiry date, so it should work now...if anyone is interested to do so that is!

Again, apologies for the issues.
