The media and academia world love to turn it around and make humans the main culprits.

But because of religion and Christian values distorting history we forget the history around earths past.

Up until 12,850 years ago, earth was in an ice age where temperatures on average were 20-30 degrees colder, where we had 2-3 kilometers of ice stretching over North America, Russia and Europe. Earth was in a 2.5 million year ice age, until asteroid fragments struck Greenland. Leaving nano-diamond imprints all over the world, dating back to that exact event. Nano-diamonds formed after the impact from temperatures, reaching over 2000’C, melting the ice caps. It’s believed after the impacts earths oceans rose 400 feet. Last year ocean levels rose less then 7 inches, less then the year before. As the earth is still balancing itself out after the younger dryus event. Even as the earth has potential to move back into a solar minimum time which leads to colder temperatures.

IMO all about perspective. Before the ice age began, on average, co2 levels were much higher, and temperatures were much warmer.

They actually haven’t been able to find points in history where co2 is as low as it is now correlated to temperature in earths history. Remember co2 is a trace buffer gas, nothing more. Add a Bollinger band around temperature and you capture the volatility of earths temperature. We talking .6 degrees over 140 years.

All the greenies want more trees, etc. they should welcome co2. Plants grow more, it’s why they keep greenhouses at 1000ppm+.

To say humans will impact this earth on temperature scale is the complete wrong way to go about it.

You want specific environmental actions against things which r in humans control, water, the foods we eat. Not some theoretical idea, built into models which haven’t been right in the slightest. Put it this way, if you used the same correlation of the climate models' to be used as an expert advisor, having an accuracy less then 20%, we’d be broke by the end of the quarter.

Don’t mind me, just ranting at 3am

You are confusing climate with weather son, Australia can have record heat waves and the ice pack at the poles can diminish over 3% per decade since the seventies that is climate change. You get a snowstorm in winter somewhere that is just weather. FYI most Canadians don't care about the pipeline excepting a few noisy Albertans, and there was ample warning as Biden announced in May that if he was elected Keystone was dead. Biden has to go the green route because 69% of the US voting population feel something needs to be done about climate change and to be a democracy you need to do what the majority wants. Climate deniers, flat earthers and anti-vaxers are just small but noisy minorities that more often than not have other underlying psychological problems too.

Just to confirm my own Winter experience.

We used to have a very nice Winter with lots of snow. At least once, maybe twice per Winter with 40-50 cm. As a kid, we did hockey on the street using mini-ski. Really mini, these ski were.

Now we get about one or two snow falls per Winter. And last for about a week. The last one will be all gone by the end of tomorrow. Temperatures are positive. Well over 5C. Media says next days we will see 15-17C. This is ABSURD, to say at least.

Dunno what your argument is all about, but these are simple facts. Of my life.

People are dumb. Especially the guys who control and print and issue the money. These are just a special kind of stupids, never seen before...

And the fact is, we don't have Winter here. Not any more. It took just 20-25 years.

We do not need science to see all is screwed up ALREADY.

Real scientists, not the political hacks who push man made whatever, have estimated that it took roughly 10 years for the last ice age to go from nothing to full on. So, no matter which way the climate will go, there is not a thing humans can do to change that once it gets going.

Planet earth was also colder at one time and at one time it had almost 35% oxygen atmosphere allowing for massive flora and fauna but the climate goes through natural cycles. This current change though is not part of any natural cycle, it is entirely man made. Never before in history excepting when the comet killed the dinosaurs has the climate changed so much in such a short period of time. we are talking decades not millennia and evolution of a lot of species will not keep up.

Its sad that the issue of climate change has become a partisan political issue. Inevitable I suppose because dealing with it is (a) a Global task, and different societies will have their economic models hit in different ways, but also because large global in industries like coal, hydrocarbons and gas will have their hegemony challenged. Though these industries, will as the tobacco Industries did about the health issues involved with smoking, work hard to try to discredit the size of the upcoming crisis, the scientific evidence is overwhelming. While in the past the path to progress and prosperity has focused on endless growth and unfettered consumption of global resources. Science has now flagged that this is no longer sustainable, and highlighted that Planet Earth has finite resources, a delicate eco-balance and a high price to be paid if this is seriously destabilized. And that threatens a number of very powerful legacy energy business models. My personal view is that energy transition can and will be a win-win with technology ultimately making green energy much cheaper, and most importantly sustainable... and real good investment right now. (vis Tesla etc) Folk interested in conservation economics should review Kate Raworths "Donut Economics" work.. which explores that more sustainable model.

The SUN is the primary driver of Climate variation and Neanderthals well understand that the reason Winter is different then Summer has to do with where the Sun's elevation is in the Sky, controlling Light exposure of Biosphere.
Human history reflects this Neanderthalic concept as winter and summer solstice events have structures designed to pinpoint when these occur.
Stonehenge being a well known example.

Have found in my Life to first figure out where things are before deciding where to go next.
As honest research shows climate moves in a cycle. That is the starting point.

There is currently underway an attempt to move Nations economies based upon a Theory which is not proving out Real Time. There is reliance upon emotions and ridicule to further that agenda rather then Science. This is not settled Science that all one has to do is remove Human imprint from Nature and everything reverts to a Garden of Eden.

There is a Human Cost to what is being implemented and it will prove out Catastrophic given the unknowns about where Climate is actually headed.
Yes Pollution is desirable to be reduced however that must be balanced against cost to Life itself. No one made claims that change is easy to accomplish only that change be based upon Truth.

Need I point out how today's events in North East US are dramatic real time event which the Leaders of climate Change global Warmists claimed would not happen.
If the Computer projections which is being used as justification for Policy actions were valid then those actions would be just, but Real world demonstrates the Projections are not valid.

I and others continue to point towards an alternative outcome which Data events as it unfolds real time does support.

It is for their own personal gains, as these can have many expressions. Basically this is their reward for the service they provide to the Money Issuer. He knows how to reward those loyal to him. These efforts are overwhelmingly in conflict with the goals of this landmark global climate accord and designed to maintain the social and legal license to operate and expand fossil fuel operations. Its the Tobacco Co scam all over again.
In the run-up to the US midterm elections last year $2m was spent on targeted Facebook and Instagram ads by global oil giants and their industry bodies, promoting the benefits of increased fossil fuel production.
Little wonder that the professionally naive alt-news brigade are conned. Bit like the "Great Election Steal" .

Its a pity that such naive discussions continue to waste traders time here.

foto your argument is eloquent but there are many things incorrect about it. For one thing the sea ice is not plateauing it is intensifying and the proper inter-glacial period you are speaking of suggests that the earth should be entering a cooling period which we clearly are not. I haven't got time to argue/debate this anymore so think what you want I don't really care. I will ask this though as an appeal to common sense. Even if the climate change wasn't happening do you really think it is a good idea to go on polluting our air and our water like we do?

Todays events in the Northeast are absolutely bang on correct with what was said will begin to happen. It is due to the loss of the polar ices and the warmer air in the northern hemisphere which has caused the jet stream which usually runs across Canadas northern prairies and southern edge of the territories to move south to the northern states. David Suzuki was predicting all this in the early eighties on a CBC show called "The Nature of Things" .

These are no small matters and the Plateauing of Sea Ice Loss is a part of the evidence along with current duration of time which has passed since last GSM strongly suggesting a lengthy period of Cold Climate is bearing down upon this Globe.
