Here is the road ahead for GBPUSD ""IF"" smart money continues to buy it. Remember, the trading landscape can change in a heart beat with geopolitical local, National and World events so apply sound DISCIPLINE and MONEY MANAGEMENT.

Note the green dashed line ""should"" act as SUPPORT for any pull back. This has extra strength since it is in confluence with the Ice Cream Man - don't know who the Ice Cream Man is - read the thread!

Shame on you if you missed the current move off the doji hammer supported by the Strat Shadow.

Further shame if you did not notice the key SUPPORT of the Strat Shadow from September 30 last year - 820 pips ago!

Yes, I missed it because I had dropped down to M1 and M5 - I only hope my M5 trades totaled the $ amount equal to those pips.

Trading daily has changed tremendously my profitability. Getting better and better. Still trading live account with small money, because the country I live in is not very rich. 1000 dollars here are 10000 ins USA. I have realised that mindset is the key for success in any area of life, trading is no different. I am not a millionaire and may I never be, actually I don’t want it. Setting realistic goal is game changer for me. Even with 5-6%profit a month is enough to make living in few years. As uncle Warren / you know him/ said he is lucky to live In america, have some investing genes and most important compound interest rate. Compound interest rate is really a key for growing your account. Do a research about it . Investing 50-100 $ dollars or your native currency into your account every month without withdrawing anything will have tremendous effect of your growth for few years. Example if you have 80% growth each year with 1000$ or native currency account for five years you will earn 19k /for 5 years/. But if you add to every month 50$ you will end up with 37 000 Dolaridoos for 5 years with total monthly contributions 4K. And that’s with 50$ How about putting 100$ each month to your account? /To all the smokers do not get excuses 5 bucks for daily cigarette pack is not good, putting it in your account is better./Than you would have 56k for 5 years. 80% profit a year is totally reachable with Jedi Master Strats Strategy. If you trade 28 pairs with gold and silver you need to earn just 2.85% profit from each pair for one year to reach total of 80% account growth. Totally doable. I’m trying to do this now and I have few years to get there. Also knowing that you have to win just 2.85% profit from each pair a year made my trading a lot better and less stressful. I hope this help someone. I have learned a lot from this thread. That’s what I can give back .

This is a nice little indicator I found which draws horizontal or trend lines in the chart like below.

It automatically marks from which time frames you draw the line. plus we can change the line type and colors also..

Do you know that everyday i login to the thread especially the old (first) thread there will be one or two traders there.
How i wish i had known you in your active days, you are indeed a great man.
Pain that age and the exigencies of life has made choices for you that takes a better part of your time away from this thread.
It will be selfish of me to have to wish for any other path than what your have chosen now.
Like you rightly said there are lots of wonderful traders in the thread now but the question is whether they have that selflessness to be of help to other traders.

It is difficult to see on the chart but use this rule:

Look at the White Candle opening price.
Compare it to the low of the wick of the red candle which I assume was the last Control Candle.
In this case.... the lower price of the two designates the Control Candle. Which appears to be the Red Candle. You got it.

I like this trade. you are trading from one SR to the next and following the m5 trend.
Keep in mind though that not all crosses have a big range, and ideally you want to have a big big range when trading m5.

Big thanks to Strat for keeping the PASR torch burning, and for all your kind words of welcome.

So, we are back in the trading room and looking for some action.

Now I am preparing a post on GBP/ USD. We have had a lovely market from back in March when covid locked us down, up to today. Lots of nice price action, easy support and resistance and some obvious take profit targets.

Alongside this I want to look at risk, exposure and the creation of a yield curve which is essential to the correct allocation of risk.

Market mechanics, do you know how this impacts your trades?

All in all I want to empower you to make a trading plan, from start to finish so one day watching the markets is like watching paint dry.
