MT4 (Metatrader) installation instruction for Snow Leopard 10.6 Mac

I know it's an old topic, but I have problems in getting DDE with MT4 running "under" CROSSOVER.
Anybody did succeed in this ?

Is anyone still alive on this thread? I have a Mac 10.6.8 I can't upgrade the OS system. I've downloaded Playonmac, Xquartz and Winebottler. They are all in my applications. I'm not sure where the XQuartz bit comes in but this is the process I have been following > > > I open playonmac, install winebottler.dmg and then install metatrader 4. Each time I do I get an error message:

" Error in POL_Shortcut
Binary not found: terminal.exe
Have you installed the program to the default location? "

Can anyone advise how to download this without getting an error message?

I had to skip install of Microsoft Palour & a few other things but works like a charm.
