will contribute to the thread.

I use EA for my TE. But now i mix it with some manual trade. Trying a new simple strategy. Its still have some setback. Will share it later.

Mine ( this is the 3rd TE) cannot even last 60 days....

I do mostly careful scalping. Changed my trading style recently and it seems to be working finally. For me, it's all about emotional discipline.
Be content with small gains. It all adds up over time.

With trade records you're not just scalping, you swing trade as well.

But holding your trade well really impressed me.

My biggest problem with taking trades.

1. Late entry

2. Afraid price to reverse at level ( see chart)

I was holding this trade to test my patience of drawdown. It works.

Normally, I will abandon the trade by stopping out, coz I prefer scalping.

Still learning and eager to learn.

Scalping will have you making irrational decisions. I am glad you could hold to test your DD temper..

But what I do isn't swing trading. It's pure scalping. Longs and shorts. Swing traders go long term and hold with trail stops until overall trend reverses. Like the ride from EUR/USD 1.08-1.23. Now, potentially short to 1.16-1.12. Then maybe up to 1.30ish. I don't have the patience, guts, or experience for something like that. I know some traders like Mr. BullBear and others who do more medium term swing trading. They usually go for the 100-300 pip swings. Me, I just do 5-30 pip scalps with a drawdown strategy using strategic position sizing. I rarely use stops. All manual trading. So far it worked.
At the moment, EUR/USD PA is iffy, so I'm waiting on sidelines for a clearer development. I trade only EUR/USD. Focusing on only one pair helps you channel your energy properly so you can avoid costly mistakes.
Be content with small gains. It all adds up over time.

Friday - end of the week.

This is what my analysis for GU today ( still learning to analyze set up).

The whole process is to push price higher 1.39 to 1.40 level.

Need more seller to fill Market Maker Order.

Pushing price down, while collecting more order until Significant SNR Zone.

I might be wrong. This is the only way for me to learn by posting set up for other to comment and xchange ideas.

Hello all, been out of cable today, filled my cup with some tears after yesterday, could have kicked myself about not keeping my long positions, they were hurting but my analysis was a little late in coming, all said, I made elsewhere so cannot complain, @ Kaysole, I had some good ops with Gold, still believe in the short on the 4hr, out now though, 2 out of 3, D
I don't need to be good at the game, only good enough to beat my opponent,

Hi Sang , buying cable dips is a money machine.
I agree with your analysis.
I believe USD is heading off a cliff in mid-longer term, with some bullish pull backs along the way.

Market loves pricing in the future, while news headlines try to trap us in the present.
