Surely there must be a well behaved (P.A wise) pair out there! Some days (like recently) markets seem to be a little up and down, very moody from my perspective! Thanks for your input and I will monitor BTC to see if it is actually worth my time, money and efforts!
Hi all!
Just seeking some advice on Gold. I am in a losing position and my B/E is 1831, which it touched earlier today. I am wondering about holding for it to come back down to this point, or taking a 0.73% loss. Most of the time, at least 70% of the time, my losses usually prove unnecessary (as they come back to my B/E and often hit my original TP) but I am having a bad time lately with fear and anxiety...I don't know what has come over me...just lost my good run and hit that point where I am re-educating myself to get back to a good strike rate. So any informed help whether to cut and run, or hold and wait would be appreciated!

I was shopping with my wife and It was about half an hour before us open and never felt comfortable holding the trade. No real reason, just could not follow the trade properly.

Morning! Doing okay, except for the beating on Gold...I jumped in when it was selling off, jumped in a bit late, and well, gold is a difficult beast...in fact my profits will be better just not trading it!! lol...I really hate that pair!! I am going to go back over it again, see if I really will trade it....it's just too volatile and erratic for me!! sigh! So now, I need to recover my 1% to even B/E today...unless a miracle happens and Gold goes back down to 1835 (I have scalped it a few times to bring my B/E up a bit...)...

I am doing well. Spending my last week with the family before they start school. I find I do better in the currencies. Gold is difficult to trade. The reason for the retrace was resistance on the daily. The longer term direction should be down though.
Build ones confidence because when that goes then one does revenge trading and just throws good money away.

You do realize that Master Prozor is going to ask you why...! lol...(meant in a nice way, not sarcastic way!). I must admit I am not sure what your logic is here Houtbay....although I can't talk about logic, I jumped onto Gold, that I thankfully got out at nearly B/E by scalping extra downward moves (about 5 times to bring my entry price up to get out....very small loss,,,maybe about 0.3%...good enough for me to be relieved and learned another big lesson...actually several!!).

Yes..so true..revenge trading is something that I fight, although it is getting less intense. I am more relaxed about things, but this is my sole income (although I can live off about $150/$200 a day as my expenses are quite low thankfully....so I don't need much to get by once I get a bit more consistent)...

1.21327 is support on the 4 hour Eurusd. We will see what happens at this level.
