once the trend is reversed , I start to count its units of 30 mins. or 1h, 4 hours.... pay attention to the trends are in early stage or late trend cycle..
if a trend is in early stage, if I have already had trades against trends, I may hold off trades or lighten the loads..
M30 trend usually lasts a day or two, H1 three days, H4 about a week... nowadays since the FED is manipulating markets with massive printing, the trends last twice much longer in one direction
