Hello Billy. Hope you are well and gathering the pips Just visiting this thread again and wondering whether you are still using the set file you provided in post 308 (https://www.forexfactory.com/thread/...7#post13077077). I think the only way I can understand/appreciate the power of your EA in relation to the 'SymbolBasketCashTakeProfit' functions is to demo and observe a successful set file you have use. Also, is version 37.1 the latest or have you come up with some more goodies Thanks

Hi Billy, one other question to add to the above, I notice that as I open more trades, the magic number keeps changing (increasing by 1 digit). I.E. the number 676677 is the default magic number in the EA. When I have opened a few trades, this number increased to 676678 of its on accord on the next few trades I open, then to 676679 on the next few trades I open and so on. Is this how it's meant to function?

The set files I attached were just an idea of how the EA can be used.
I have not released a new version because I have been busy working on my auto trading EA's.

The magic number changes so that the EA does not close the hedged trades but it should not
change if the trade does not get hedged.

Once a trade is hedged then the EA will ignore it and it can be left alone until price gets to a major level.
Most people would then close the profitable trade and leave the losing trade open and manage it manually.

If you wanted the losing trade to to be recovered by the EA,
you would have to switch OFF the EA hedging ( BEFORE CLOSING THE PROFITABLE TRADE)
and also to untick the box (only manage own trades)
Depending on how far the BE point is, you could consider adding a trade or 2
in the same direction as the losing trade to bring the BE point a bit closer.

My first thoughts on the target users.

 

  1. Definitely, it’s not for the new forex trades and those who has not reached to level of practical precise risk management skill in forex trading. For these candidates I will suggest to have a look at the tool and test the demo. In case of you are decided to buy a signal service from MT5 market place (FOREX COPIER REMOTE 2). From my point of view, you should only buy Major forex pairs signals.
  2. It’s mainly targeted to mature forex trader where they have multiple forex broker accounts. And they know what they are doing and have tight risk management in place. For instance, you have divided your funds in multiple brokers. Or if you have multiple broker accounts under different regulations. For instance, ASIC and FCA.
  3. Another target set of users may be those who run the MT5 Algo. Its worthwhile to spend the computational power on one Algo (which is “source” in FOREX COPIER) and copy the trades into the different account which can be done with no computation power. I am still not very clear about the “latency” in the coping trades. The latency might not be issue if the signals are generated based on the longer time frame eg. Day level or H4 level. On the other hand, smaller time frame signals (5 mins) coping might be an issue unless the Latency in milliseconds is clearly defined.

Thanks to @Nicholishen (great man ... great idea ... great product), @Billy (for the changes and his talent as a programmer) and everyone else.
I tried ... tested and used several thousand indicators and EAs.
Now it's up to this tool and since the first post, I have the strong impression that it could be number 1.
There is still something that could be perfected, but I want to write about this in a few days.

Now just two curiosities (I hope not stupid):
I performed two distinct operations on two different pairs (real account).
In one I have "slip 2" and in the other "slip -4".
1) Does this mean that I have achieved one positive and one negative slippage (and maybe some more specific information)?
2) The number refers, I assume, to points, because it doesn't seem to me that there has been a slippage so high as to be calculated in pips, but I could be wrong.
Can anyone (please) confirm these two points?

HI All,

My name is Peter and I have taken an interest in this EA panel approach. I have been trying it out and going through this thread, I couldn't see any mention of a contingency stop loss IF you

*lose internet connection
*power outage
*basic disconnection with the market while a trade is in play....

... for any extended period of time.

I am hoping that the developer or someone proficient in its use can enlighten me regarding this situation.

Hi mate, slippage is dependent on market conditions Plus broker honesty.
If you are always getting -ve slippage or rarely much +ve slippage then something is wrong and I'd look for another broker.

Unfortunately I don't have the time to be involved in this project anymore but I will answer your question.
Yes not having a SL can be a concern but I've made changes to the EA and if the SL is placed is placed with autohedging =enabled,
then the SL gets removed when price gets close to the hedging price.

Awesome panel. Great work. I like the simplicity and executional speed orders are opened/closed.

Are there stills coders left here working/using it?

Would it be possible to have a button/functionality added to it to support placing pending orders at a fixed pips distance and/or based on the last price bar‘s high/low (buy stop/sell stop) ?

Edit, version 3.71 is not working for me. It won´t open any orders for me using the buy/sell buttons.

Edit, it is also not removing from the chart + has some visual bugs if pressing the arrows to adjust lot size or minimize/close. Not working here.
