thanks for creating- planetary time frames look interesting

is there a way of analysing the gap measurement - as to whether there was a consistent distance on a given instrument and time frame as a heads up to a possible colour gap coming ... i know little of what is possible in coding world might be nonsense might inspire who knows

Hi,

Thank you for very useful set of indicators! TrixIndi has proven to me very useful help in manual trading but there is only a small niggle with it - when using symbol changer to switch between pairs, the R4M-TrixIndi always resets the colors to default with each switch between the pairs.

Any quick fix to make it store the selected colors? E.g. I want to get rid of the center line and use slightly less aggressive coloring but its not really possible. Its not the end of the world, just a very minor cosmetical issue.

Not sure what you mean by "planetary time frames" or analyzing the gap measurement -- but that's okay. Let's add that to the list of your future projects. It's not the first time you've heard this nor the first time I've said it -- but for anyone who aspires to be able to experiment with their own ideas then learning to program with mql4 is the only way to go. Most folks here lack the curiousity required to motivate oneself to learn something new -- so, they'll spend their entire trading career wishfully thinking about all the great ideas they had to let pass by.

No quick fix -- whatever customization I add to please you will annoy someone else. Also, I'm not in the habit of adding dozens of settings to select different colors, line widths, etc. The default chart for MT4 is white on black, so I go with that to keep things simple. You might be able to get around the issue using a *.set file or template, though I'm not sure.

1st jenkins book look at paris boys shared files belive that ones is 1 first books shared on jenkins thread here in

m5 ( close enough acording to jenkins) m15 (skip 30 min) h1 references h4 i find if things good m5 m15 h1 you may find different

And as for inspiring a well-driven, smart individual -- why couldn't that be you? Why does it have to be someone else? You've been here long enough to understand that people ask for things all the time. We are all equally capable -- it's just that it is easier and more convenient to ask (inspire, whatever you want to call it) in the hope someone else will do the work for you, right?

id like to learn programming im dyslexic so i think it will be a great challenge

but if your as board as you say you are perhaps read the files associatted to what things go over your head your obviously supper smart other wise you wouldn't code

Thanks, I umderstand. I can use setfile but there is no option of saving it. Can you suggest how can the default setfile to be created/loaded for the Trix?

robots4me just giving you tools to use to build a potential system. It is like a hammer to build a house but you need much much more.

Trading is Simple. Work to get to Simple is Hard.

1. Find Statistically Viable Entry
2. Find Statistically Viable MM
3. Find Statistically Viable Exit

If you think you have something good, Run 1000 back test trades by ea or manually. Keep Statistics.

Achieve at least: 1.8 PF, 18%DD, 100%Profit over 1,000 trades.

Run 500 Demo Live Tests, compare results. If results comparable to back test - Prepare to be a Success.

@Ilvez -- you're right. Since there are no Input settings then the Input dialog doesn't include 'Save' and 'Load' buttons.

The best I can suggest is to use a template to change the background color -- which will persist across symbol changes. I understand it's not the same as changing line colors, but perhaps there's a background color that makes the line colors more suitable for your viewing.

Sure, go ahead...

5 traders out of 1000 "want to be traders" will do what I outlined above.

The rest 995 will be too lazy to do it and therefore lose their accounts for the benefit of those 5 traders that did the hard work.
