As an analysis method, this can work IF you put in the proper filters, eg. what is the range of Monday + Tuesday?

Is there room to move for the rest of the week?

Hi,
Here is the EA modified as requested by Clipi, to be coupled with the indicator that you will find on station N ° 2279.
it is to be placed on a graph H1.
Hope you are satisfied with this.
If there are any errors let me know (there probably are).
the broker's time must be displayed (to be set with GMT time)
When placing the EA and setting the parameters, it is best to close "AutoTrading" and then reopen it once all the peers are finished (with a different magicNumber).
And of course, this EA should only be used on a demo account for educational purposes.

The EA does not work correctly, of the 15 pairs that it had configured, it only placed pending orders in EA AJ EU GJ the rest did not, then GJ and EU canceled the orders after a few minutes.
The MM used was the same 0.07 lot for each pair, whether it had an SL of 30 or if it had an SL of 100, the MM should have calculated the risk of 0.5% by the size of the SL.

A simpler option would be, if the Mody Modifyed EA works correctly by opening pending operations on Tuesday at 23:59, directly change the opening time of pending operations to Monday at 10 o'clock without the option to modify the time.

How has this mon-tue adr against weekly adr strategy been going?
Anything above the line is an uptrend, below the line is a downtrend.

Can you share your indicators and template? Would like to see how this idea of yours does in visual backtest.
Anything above the line is an uptrend, below the line is a downtrend.

MT4, MT5 ???

I don't do Templates anymore, the settings are never carried over properly.

You just need the High and Low of Monday and Tuesday

Anything else on the chart is what you want.

I would just need the mon-tue range number indicator that you have circled with purple and awr indicator if you can share in mt4 format.
Anything above the line is an uptrend, below the line is a downtrend.

Hello Clipi,
Indeed, there are problems.
In backtest, it works but in live it is rather capricious.
I am not the originator of this EA (I made only minor contributions to it) and I am far from understanding everything in the code.
With the modified code there must be some bad interactions ...
The best would be to start from scratch.
I'll see if I have another more suitable code structure, but I can't give a delay;

For my part, I will test other solutions and I will keep you informed of the progress.

The Mon Tue range numbers are from the Daily Lines Box indicator as per that link; did you even try that?

All the settings are there to achieve the very same chart

I did some live tests and it's ok on my platform.
On the other hand for the money management, I did not touch it; it was like that in MoTu_Modifyed EA; the position size is determined by the account balance and% risk and not by the size of the StopLoss.
Test to see if it works well every day and at different times on demo account to validate this version.

i really like this indicator very much,i was using this as a daily box that draws high and low of first 4 hour of market open.can this indicator update everyday at market open by itself because right now we have to select day by 1 for monday ,2 for tuesday etc,many thanks

There is still a small problem to be resolved; after a while one of the two pending orders is deleted, which is rather annoying.
I see where the cause is and I am looking for a solution ...

In fact the excellent indicator "Daily LinesBoxes" can do it (it can do everything, by the way).
Here it is configured for the first 4 hours on Graph H1 and also the template for graph H4.

FINALLY, some trending pairs, no huge moves, and breakouts early in the week, price action was "normal" reacting to each level as it should, easy pips, hope you got some, let's hope it continues next year
