another month ends, October is over.

not much to say about it, it was a slower one for me, as the result shows, but also was one without much a dd; averall i consider a good month.



with the upcoming US election, i am most likely starting November with a long weekend.
while volatility is generally a good thng for scalper, emotions running too high is a double edge sword.
since looking more to profit than gamble and excitment, being on the sidelines until after the results just might the the wise choice.
plus an extra day or two break is always welcome! helps with balancing trading and everyday life.

the discord channel is still going, still open to anyone interested to be part of an active trading room, if someone needs a link can ask.
but it wont suit everyone, nor i care about that.
and yes, it is free!


for direct request, or by reference, i consider to mentor a student, and only 1 at a time!

I would like to give an update on what I have encountered in the room. When I first wrote it was early days for me and I got so much value for free since then that I feel compelled to write about it.
This room has become my go-to place while trading, first because it is much more fun to be discussing interesting trading subjects while waiting for setups than to be just watching paint dry when markets are not moving, and second because of the trading calls shared, not to copy as everyone has a slightly different style but to bring attention to something one might be missing. More often than one would expect very interesting tips / gems are shared by experienced trades, if one is paying attention and interested to learn there is so much to get from there. My counter trend trading (which i didn't use to do) is now more profitable and WAY more consistent than my trend trading. Thanks for tips and conversation I've had in the room.
Now, did I observe for a long time? YES, no doubt... Did i work hard on research and backtest to try and see what these guys were seeing? HELL yeah!
Lets put it this way, if you are serious about trading, has an open mind to new ideas, and you're willing to work hard this is a great place to be sharing ideas and to learn from. If you expect to be spoon fed and want everything handed over to you then skip to the next holy grail... I don't remember getting so much value and meeting such valuable group of people for free anywhere.

i am happy to say that after 6 months the discord group is still active, and became a daily meeting place for many active traders.
in a way it is a unique place. a chance get to know some ppl who doesnt post hindsight charts but daytrade.
on top super international, and super casual, without 'political correctness' or any other BS.
and of course, it is FREE too!!

I am quite amazed there where that many profiteble traders on FF also that most are scalpers....I think we have most of the best traders on FF in this group....I am greateful for PF to start this group and i hope it last for a long time

since next week is a short trading week, and Xmas is just around the corner,
thought i give a little update ( probably the last for the year?)

2020 has been one rollercoaster year for multiple reasons i think everyone aware of,
and it sure made trading challenging at times.
some ups, some downs, the usual. anyone who has been trading for a while knows exactly how it is.
all in all, a profitable year, covers the living, and some, but definitely fell short from what i have envisioned at the beginning of the year in January.

this year has seen some other changes too,
i asked and been changed to commercial status.
had a few students, which i enjoyed.
in fact, just finished the regular lessons with my last student so there is an opening for a new student coming January is someone interested.
these are intense private lessons and they arent free. like everyone, i value my time too, and so should you. the fee is an assurance you wont waste my time.
i would like to say it worth it, but then, ultimately it is down to the individual in the end. all i can say i am generous with my time, and believe i can improve on one's trading, especially if someone at intermediate level, serious about learning, but not profitable consistently yet.
about mentoring, i can be reached thru PM or the discord channel.

the summer also has seen the start of my first ever discord channel.

unlike tutoring, it is totally FREE!
while many traders joined, it was never the goal to have the most members, and eventually the list got trimmed down.
it is mostly daytrading focused, although everyone is welcome.
as long as shows some regular activity, that is!
also, cant repeat enough, it is neither a signal service, nor a trading system sharing place.
it is however an active trading room, with some setups pointed out, some trades being called attention to, and occasionally of course some "trading wisdom" shared too. and i dont refer to myself, there is quite a few traders there with many years of experience, covering a diverse knowledge.

havent used the invitation for a while, thinking that slowly to transition it to a closed group,

something a little personal related.
Psyquation recently had a 'live' acct trading competition, where the results were score based.
i gave it a go.
unfortunately at one point messed up, and the 6-weeks are relative short to good any mistake,
still, i have finished 2nd place, which came with a pretty decent 5000 AUD cash prize.

it does sweeten the holidays some!!

in the past also shared my thoughts on this, but i think past is past, it doesnt hurt to write about it more.
of course, my opinion is only that, an opinion, and reflects nothing but what i think about it, and how i approach this matter.
nevertheless, i hope some of you may find it useful, if find themself in similar situation, planning on full-time move.
on some points would need to elaborate a little further, this is a shortened answer, to a complex "problem" that would need to address the finer details individually, based on personal circumstances to have a fully detailed plan.
