DislikedI warn everyone, so that on Monday your don't find yourself unprepared. MT4 and MT5 have been updated.Ignored
Disliked{quote} No, but I thought so too. On my mobile I got the notice of the updated mobile MT4. However, when I opened the MT4 on the computer, it also updated (all copies of my Brokers, to tell the truth). Out of curiosity I checked the MT5 I have with another Broker and this too has been updated. As you can see, the dates are Thursday 26, the official date of Metaquotes. Brokers, however, always update on Saturday or Sunday, in order not to create problems. I'm not writing this for you, who know better than me , but for those in their first update....Ignored
Disliked{quote} Ok. Thanks. I haven't turned off my computer or any MT4's running since before Thursday. Do you what kinds of problems (if any) can an update cause? I know major updates may cause the code from some EA's or indys to not work but minor updates are probably not noticeable. Right?Ignored
Disliked{quote} @OutThere -- regarding updates -- you're "damned if you do, and damned if you don't"... For security reasons, MetaQuotes would rarely announce what the changes are. Since @Trader-IT was kind enough to alert us, at least we are aware of the update and if we notice any different or odd behavior we have an explanation. It's not worth fighting MetaQuotes -- if you're going to use their trading platform then go with the flow. The alternative is the update will occur at some point in the future when you're not paying attention.Ignored

Disliked{quote} Thanks for the heads up, Trader-IT! Will there be a need to do anything from our end?Ignored

DislikedBefore you update MT4 or MT5 you can copy the terminal.exe file to your desktop, then update your MT4 or MT5. If you don’t like the update you can simply replace the new created terminal.exe file with the old one.Ignored
DislikedHi, This really hard for me to choose... Trade major pairs 7 VS Trade all pairs major and cross major 28++ Hehe... Just a polling guys...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Unfortunately you don't know what you are talking about. Anyway stop now. 11 posts on this are enough. In the past (and on other forums) I reported the event and it ended there. This is not a thread on MT4, but on The5%ers. Let's not go too far.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Lol. Who started the drama about updating MT4 or MT5? If you do what I say (and I know what I'm talking about) you will never have a problem with such a simple thing as updating MT4 or MT5 anymore. Dramaqueen.Ignored
