GBPJPY Long Trade:
Reversed per plan and this one is special. When I entered it was excellent setup with excellent PVSRA support ( high activity AND consolidation below whole level at the same time). In 90% of cases this one would become trade of the week with nice gains and this is another example why using SL. The 10% of such excellent setups that do go wrong must be limited so that equity is protected! Later this trade went to RDL and without SL it would be a disaster.
Very satisfied with this trade!

AUDJPY Long Trade Saga (2 days trading separately because of the weekend in between):

My TP was bold already on Friday that's why I didn't take profits at a bit more then 1:1 RR , but had to close before the weekend with a plan to re-enter as soon as mkt opens . I did that and it went to profit right away, but once again I didn't take it because of TP much higher. For that reason I re-entered once again and took partial profit just below RDH. At the end the trade just didn't have momentum so I closed the rest.

GBPJPY Long Trade:
This was my main trade. Took partial profit after the spike and closed at quarter as it seemed like retrace down coming. Re-eneterd close to the TL but mo luck with momentum again so closed re-enter BE. Could have been really nice trade so I'll be watching that one next few days.

This one was terrible not because it was a loss but because I put the SL too wide at the start. Should have been placed just below the TL . So my mistake.

You did well on this trade. Keep in mind, however, that during NY session an early high can mean another retrace lower, maybe and maybe not. So, remember our method of TVT 20 (MOL) FIFO. We advise taking profit if goal is achieved unless there is still ongoing momentum, but when that momentum ceases, close! There might be a retrace then and, depending on time remaining, another chance to enter at some retrace low and ride PA again.....

Tah

This analysis is an absolute must. For a serious trader who’s in it for a long term, simply cannot forgo this cruncher.

GBPJPY Example: Setup Hunting With H4 and M15 At the time of this posting H4 shows the validating requirements: all trends with good angle (in this case up) and trends properly stacked (in this case bullish). Next, looking at M15 we see the same requirements are fulfilled. However, M15 also suggests PA is currently being retraced (down) and that this could continue, possibly taking PA down as low as RWH. So, it is sensible to see this as a bullish situation, but we might want to wait into the NYS before opening a long trade. If trading light then...

GBPJPY Long Trade Closed

H4 chart validation of long trade held, with trends remaining stacked bullish while MMs retraced price and then returned it. Trade ran 10 trading days for a total of 20 EPs averaging greater than 100 pips each, the equivalent of more than one hundred TVT 20s during the 10 trading days......the equivalent of 10 TVT 20s per day. Long, drawn out affairs, but can be nicely profitable....and occasionally maybe very damaging if the retrace converts to full blown reversal. All-in-all, not recommended.

The "market" likes to refer to nice retraces in really nice trends as "healthy retraces". Of course, this is all BULLSHIT! What is really going on is that in order for SM market manipulators to take on larger positions in something that they will make go further, they need suckers to come into the market on the "wrong side". And THIS is why we get the "healthy retraces".....something to help convince DM (Dumb Money) to come into the market on the wrong side, thereby creating liquidity for SM to add to their positions at ever more attractive prices as the "healthy retrace" continues. And, by the way, this retrace was nothing more than a standard Fibonacci 50% retrace (see HTMRWs?).

So, all-in-all, not recommended. Stick to TVT 20 (MOL) FIFO. There is much less risk involved. Building a trade in the direction of a HTF trend while the HTF trend is being subjected to a retrace, and doing so on the basis the HTF trend looks strong and will recover/go further, is of much higher risk than trading intra-day setups. At any time while the market is open, anything can happen. So, an extended time trading method leaves the security door wide open for disaster to enter! Why not trade the direction of the retrace during the retrace and then trade the direction of the trend resumption during the trend resumption, always sticking to the best of valid setups? If we do, we expose ourselves to much, much less risk. Is this a trade-off, the giving up of potentially greater profits in order to reduce risk? Yes, it definitely is! Why be a bold cowboy and jump onto the biggest, strongest, fastest looking horse in the race....soon to take a big lead and get you all excited and happy? What good will that do you when in the path of your horse is a deadly rattlesnake, the horse bolts, you are de-saddled and thrown over the cliff to your death?

So, what can be said about the GJ trade that has any merit? My conclusion was that it IS an example of HTMRWs.......that it CAN be profitable.....but, like practically every other example of HTMRWs that CAN be profitable, the odds are it won't be. If taken up and bandied about.....it will be the demise of the account.
