if you failed in verification stage with a positive profit and without violating other objectives, you are eligible for retake but from challenge stage ..you need to repeat.

I am a trader from Nigeria and I just paid for my challenge. You can either get a dollar card in one the banks or use someone dollar card. I used PayPal to transferred money to someone in the US who used his MasterCard to pay for the challenge on my behalf. You can apply for the challenge and send the payment link to whoever want to pay for you or get dollar card yourself.

hi guys, i would like to confirm whether something is wrong for the margin requirement for XAGUSD...

i'm trying the 10k GBP challenge on MT5 and i can only buy a total of 0.03 lot for XAGUSD... this does not happen during the trial and i just re-check it again on the trial..

on the challenge, as shown on the pic, it requires 3135GBP to open 0.01 lot XAGUSD.. hahaha.. anyway just emailed ftmo too..

Hi, I am new in FF but I have been reading this thread since many days, I have some questions

1) Would they be able to replicate Scalp trades that lasted 4 to 8 seconds (assuming they were made under real market conditions)?
2) Spread in mt4 and mt5 is exactly the same always for majors? Why sometimes is recommended mt5 for scalping? I have done it both in mt4 and mt5 and results were great in both
3) Anyone know if this December there will be an extension of the duration time in challenge and verification like I was reading there was in December 2019?

During the challenge and verification, I can keep positions open when the market is closed at night and on weekends. Does this apply to all instruments? Including all indices?

You can on challenge and verification just not on a funded account.

If you ask this (good) question in an email to their Support I think you'll get a much more reliable reply than you can in the forum.

It should be: spreads are not dependent on the user's platform.

Not sure. I can see two possibilities. Maybe people are starting to notice that MT4 is the world's worst trading platform and are recommending anything as an alternative to it (that would be understandable). Or maybe the people recommending that mistakenly imagine that the spreads vary according to which platform you use (that also wouldn't be a surprise).

My guess is not, because many people here have recently asked, and Tomas has given no such suggestion (but on the contrary, has defended the current situation, which is one that rightly and understandably puts so many people off trying the Challenge, given that some of FTMO's direct competitors require only about 6% profit without a time limit, rather than 10% within about 21 trading days.)

2. You claimed to have been scammed thrice by them. What kind of clotpole would be scammed by the same person/organization/scheme thrice within months?

Can you provide a copy of your communication with them showing your dispute and their response.
Would help others if they end up with the same grievance.

I do not know you but it will be better for you to admit that you failed the challenge than this lame excuses. Your daily Max allow loss is $2500, why would you allowed floating loss of $1900 if you are a good trader who is disciplined enough to calculate his risk well not hoping for the market to turn in his favour?

Post evidences from your trading account here and your complaint email to FTMO.

I started my challenge yesterday and there is no way FTMO can scam me even if they intend to do so which I believe they will not. I can not risk more than 2% on all open trades at a time. The goal is to grow the account slowly and make sure you at least produce 0.01% at the end of the challenge period because this will afford you another opportunity to take challenge again but free at this time.

Risk management is the most important aspect of trading and all investors pay attention to it not the supposed profit.
