I now know how it TP and SL, but still not sure when it open the first trade. Is it base on RSI and RSI MA ( i read in the manual ).

1 important question. i'm planning to open an 1000$ account to test the execution speed of the broker, is demo vs real have the same trade ( not all the time for sure i have tested it already ). Below is the best forward test of mine ( true drawndown is 1650$ >.< ) and.. the proof that 2 demo account have the same price order.

Sure the Smart Grid is important as it customises the grid set-up to suit the instruments volatility, (ATR). Personally I always use the tester to find the best settings for the particular instrument under consideration. If the tester says use smart grid I use it. I have found in the market coditions prevailing for the past several months, more often than not the tester says not to use the smart grid. Put the tester to work on your preferred instrument(s) and check all the settings to come up with the optimum set file for trading. Demo data is not the same as live data so testing should be done on live data in my opinion.

Triggering of the first trade is dependent upon which indicators or B3Trad you are using and I think it is all covered in the manual. At the end of the day, if you can produce a great set-file in the tester, you don't need to worry about when it triggers a trade. Save your energy for counting your profits. Set files require updating from time to time to accommodate changing market conditions over time. This will depend upon the period of price data that you use for optimising. Bear in mind that optimising purely for max profit will not necessarily produce the best set file for trading depending upon your risk tolerance, etc. Give it a go and find out what works for you.

Hello please I try to use Blessing the way you use it but I was not able to set Buy successfully...I changed the FMC as you mention but can get a buy position open...please I need help with the set up and I use the same version you use...could you please tell me what am doing wrong...Doe the EAN/Magic number having any impact

I agree all of the above, but 1 more question, Demo vs Live, which factor is changed? I care about:

1/ Drawdown
2/ Execution Speed
3/ Spread
4/ TP volume ( it can be different a little but in long run almost the same between my demon testing accounts)

So which factor change so much that i have to keep in mind? ( DONT TELL ME DRAWDOWN LOL ) i do not have much money for live testing, 1 or 2 shot only

when you want to run Blessing3 and trade manually, you need to adopt system thinking trading.

settings FMO=0 or 1 and rest ALL=0 means you must enter your first Buy or first Sell manually with a magic number/EAN. Blessing will manage and run with this magic number/EAN and use the smart grid parameters you input.

you need to use a script to open Buy Sell market order with your preferred magic number/EAN on the chart which you have Blessinbg3 loaded and running.

I open a second chart same pair without Blessings3 where I would be averaging UP with market orders according to the market type 'trend/swing'.

Do you understand this picture below and how you see this on your charts?

Always know the ADR (Daily ATR) of the pairs from grid size. Do not use the 25/50/75 grids.
Also know the market type conditions and the Average Weekly Range of the pair you pick to trade.
Run Blessing3 on Daily chart and you do not enter more than 2 positions a day. That is the control use of smart grid - size and delay. "SMART traders use smart grid"

Hi

running Blessing3 does not require any indicators on your trading chart, therefore there is no chart template required. You can run blessing3 on H4 or D1 or W1 chart the same once you know how to set it up for the currency pair. Chart timeframe has no impact on running blessing3 in manual trading mode. You just do not disturb/interrupt/etc. Blessing3 EA when it is running and has open trades/positions.

you will need to do you own technical analysis which may require the use of a few technical studies/indicators which will then help you to decide the FMC setting 0 or 1 for Buy or Sell.
You also need to study the ATR and have the ATR data inforamtion when you prepare your trade plan and when you run Blessing3 in manual trading mode.

Quite some work to do in your preparation stage and you have time during the weekends and also at month end to do these important tasks.

Thanks I understand the chart: However, when I upload blessing3...I still need to upload the Blessing script...that is my understanding...then the smart parameter grid...could you please shade more light...I am at the TMS thread and I follow and understand it

The very old, 'official' (according to whom?), version of Blessing is a wonderful tool. But it is slow and error prone.

The other versions are attempts at improvement. Many do work, and work far better than your 'official' version.

Time marches on. If you find problems with the newer versions of Blessing please say so. Otherwise, consider not holding things back or misleading other participants.

JTAToday is long gone. We're left to our own devices to keep things up to date.

it does not change the fact that the OP posted the last version he found in that JTAtoday website. That is the same version left on the JTAtoday website. I have that same version and still trading with it. Most of the bugs fixes over the many years have been done by the FifthElement team. There is no perfect EAs therefore they provided maintenance and support for as long as I can remember being their client.

JTAtoday ceased in Oct 2018, am I right?

Blessing3 v3.9.6.09 still running since then.

why do you accuse me of misleading other participants?

you did your own modifications to Blessing3 here in Forex Factory but can you provide the same level of support like JTAtoday team did in its history?

I have this belief that we never stop learning in life. The same when we are trading the markets. We learn every day and the market is our best teacher.

About trading with Blessing3, I have a system thinking approach. Blessing3 is just a trading tool I use and I decide on the buy or sell on my own.
I set a Drawdown DD limit when I trade with Blessing and I trade multiple pairs (a pool of currency pairs) at the same time with very strict and conservative risks & money management.
My limit on the floating drawdown is set at 10% but I do run to 15% at certain times and that depends on my view of the market. Worst case was a 21% DD and that caused a lot of stress when come to recovery from that DD.
