Every new trader should use a demo account to learn all the basics of forex perfectly. Because without knowledge, no trader can make money from this risky market.

yep exactly but yet people still harp on about demo demo demo which is not the best advice,

you will not learn to be a good trade unless you trade live it simple as that...

you can be a fantastic demo trader and fail miserably live..

the sooner the transition is made the better

It's true that most traders don't get success in forex. The reason is their trading decisions are not based on sound research and learning. They think forex is a cash machine. You trade and procure immense cash. They don't consider it as a business.

To shine in forex you require a professional attitude and aptitudes. Without capacities consistent profit isn't possible. Most traders neglect this essential thing. They continue running for strategy without making themselves capable.

I think forex is the good option for a newbie who wants to trade. But should remember without knowledge or skills it will be difficult to maintain good progress and you will not be able to make good money. So always learn forex before proper start.

Whether you are trading shares or forex, experience comes with practice, no one is born as an experienced trader. There are a number of tools available for your help and you can even use demo accounts and micro accounts to practice. So, I don’t think it’s experience that matters, rather your will to learn and implement that knowledge; and at the same time it’s important to learn from your mistakes.

I also think that it is fine to start trading forex right away.
The only thing a newbie should bear in mind is the fact that they need to learn before hoping for outstanding trading results. In most of the cases people are hypnotizd by some pretty picture on the Internet which tells that some teenager earned some huge amount of money and bought mazeratti just because of trading. If a trader believes in such a bs then he will hardly achieve anything decent in forex.
It doesn't matter whether to start learning forex trading or trading on the stock market. I wouldn't say that trading stocks is easier than forex. These financial instruments have different pecularities and characteristic features.

It is totally fine to come to trading from other spheres of life.
Actually, nobody was born a trader. The only thing you've got to do is to study hard and never lose your motivation which is pretty hard. Perhaps, you'd better trade on demo account at first and then move to trading real money with mini or micro lots. Demo account is fine in order to test new ideas and learn how to work with the trading platform. I mean that you may know that it is better to use pending orders while trading but on practice you may find yourself at a loss how to do it.
You should also work on your psychology and avoid emotions interfere with your decisions. Finally, you need to be self-disciplined in order to do all the preliminary work which precedes opening the trades. Ypu will need to comb your feelings and do market research and analysis in order to make sure that you know what you do. In addition to that, you've got to be tolerant to your losses and mistakes. You should be curage to analyze your past negative experience in order to correct all the mistakes that you've made.

We have all been in that place. Your success depends on the effort you put into your trading career. When you read about forex trading, you may think that it’s an easy way of making money but in reality, it’s not. Just ensure that you know the real thing so that you don’t set any unrealistic expectations.

It seems to me that if a person believes that this is an easy way, then he needs to stay away from trading as far as possible right away and until he understands.
