Is it possible to create an Expert Advisor?
As soon as a hedged position become established, execute a "Close-by" order to close both positions.

This EA would enable an MetaTrader4 account to become auto-netting.

The whole "hedging" this is just a gimmick so brokers can make more on commissions.
Who in their right mind wants a hedging account?

A lot of people are unfamiliar with MT4 "close by" function?

hey bubba..... the short answer is yes.....

if the second hedging trade was placed by a ea but in reality unwanted, it might be better to code in a simple check system to deny the second order....

if the second trade was placed manually by accident, then the closeby() function might save the spread cost.....

we can not hedge here in the states so we never see the 'closeby' option..... i believe it can only be seen when you have opposing trades.....

below would be the simplest form ..... it is a script, not ea, where you input both hedged ticket numbers....

couple important notes..... if the hedged trades are differing lot size, it should close the smaller order.... but actually both ticket "numbers" will close and a new ticket number will be assigned to the remaining lots..... and you will probably lose any comments the original orders contained....

this might be an issue later if you search for orders by comments....h

Hayseed,please would you code this kind of EA for me,i have been requesting this for very long time and im doing it manually,many a times,due to news time or high spread ,it misses my click and gives me losing high lots trades,thnks


Every time price touches the buy or sell lines or zones,it places a pending order higher than previous depnding upon fraction of increment,plz see the figure below,thanks

Requirements:
time to activate the EA and stop taking more trades
starting lot size
multiplication every time it touches the levels/zones
number of levels or layers should be opened
spread
sl and tp is build in or option in a setting(normally it is preset 30tp,30 sl) OR ADR OR 70% ADR REACHED OR BREAKEVEN

hey t4t...... they are calling me back to work friday so what spare time i had will vanish......

code involving opposing trades needs to be written by those having day to day involvement with it.... here in the states we can not have opposing trades and my martingale experience is low....

so i would not be a good choice to code your request.....h
