gbp may stall in the eg .89 area. if eu drops it may pull gu down faster now.. GBP has been on a terror north, but a eu drop and a eg support may move gbp/usd down faster than eu now. If and only if .89 eg support holds while eu falls. {image}
Ignored
probably a good area to monitor a gbp trade. .888/.89 eg. When taking with the usdx tl. Eu weakness an eg support could amplify what gu is doing. Much like its done the past few days on its rise.
If not now, .886x is the next. But .89 area has added weekly support in yellow

{quote} Take heart you sold GU, EUR looks a little stronger than GBP for today so...or you could be even worse with NZD/USD shorts.

Oh yeah...I shorted the GU...took a very modest profit as it was stalling...had dinner and came back to this giant spike up...I was lucky although I now set a hard SL which has saved my ass a few times (e.g with gold which I can't seem to time very well). To be honest, if you could only trade a few pairs what would you recommend? I know it's subjective...

AU finally broke down. I'm out of AU shorts. Strange how it and NU decoupled from DXY, and didn't move anywhere near in tandem with EU, as it has done in the past. Definitely a different correlation, I usually trade AU and EU at the same time, a very noticeable difference this time around. It alters my assumptions. NU breaking now. FINALLY
