Zakaroa, the accounts can be on one terminal.
Forex copier can copy signals between mt4 and mt4, mt5 and mt5, mt4 and mt5, mt5 and mt4.

Hello

Currently there are many strategies and indicators that always promise great returns. But in the end they fail and the reality is very different.

What has worked for me is trading only trends in price. The noise that price, ranges and accumulations make I just ignore. I only trade trends.

I focus on the major pairs of the Forex Market. It really works because my strategy is based on 100% "Price Action" and not indicators.

Yes, it is possible to copy only inputs without SL/TP with forex copier.

Below are the details on SL / TP possible settings of forex copier:
1. Ignore original order’s SL and TP.
2. Set custom SL and TP for orders which are opened on Receiver account.
3. Move SL and TP of copied order according to the difference between prices of initial and copied orders.

My first thoughts on the target users.

 

  1. Definitely, it’s not for the new forex trades and those who has not reached to level of practical precise risk management skill in forex trading. For these candidates I will suggest to have a look at the tool and test the demo. In case of you are decided to buy a signal service from MT5 market place (FOREX COPIER REMOTE 2). From my point of view, you should only buy Major forex pairs signals.
  2. It’s mainly targeted to mature forex trader where they have multiple forex broker accounts. And they know what they are doing and have tight risk management in place. For instance, you have divided your funds in multiple brokers. Or if you have multiple broker accounts under different regulations. For instance, ASIC and FCA.
  3. Another target set of users may be those who run the MT5 Algo. Its worthwhile to spend the computational power on one Algo (which is “source” in FOREX COPIER) and copy the trades into the different account which can be done with no computation power. I am still not very clear about the “latency” in the coping trades. The latency might not be issue if the signals are generated based on the longer time frame eg. Day level or H4 level. On the other hand, smaller time frame signals (5 mins) coping might be an issue unless the Latency in milliseconds is clearly defined.

I can imagine the best use of this app is to teach forex trading to my son. In couple of years time, I will give some funds to my 15 years old son. Definitely, I dont want to loose the funds as he is learning. Instead I can see the best use of forex copier where I can automatically set the reverse trade in another account.

I have just checked - its called "REVERSE MODE" available for Free version. Its worthwhile consider it while monitoring the trades of your students.

I have just checked the "Latency" that I was concerned about. When I tested 5 trades , in two trades I have found 1 sec Latency in coping. Please see the attached. As I mentioned 1 sec is not a great deal for longer time frame based trades like H4 level . However, high frequency Algo based on 1 min or 5 mins might be a big issue.

About the user interface,
Initially I thought the interface will be complicated and will be only palatable to the only expert users. But I must say the user interface is easy and anyone who understand and execute the forex trading orders can easily setup the Forex- Copier tool. It has got all necessary basics to advance features of forex trading and risk management. It took me not more than 1 hr to setup the tool and start using it on demo accounts. ( Obviously )

Again, as an expert ***warning ** before trusting any review on trading related tools, one must satisfy him or herself before using it on live account.

Yes, you are right - "REVERSE MODE" available for Free version of Forex Copier. Actually, all features are available in free version - the only difference between free and full version is the number of source and receiver accounts.

Regarding the CPU power consumption- Its towards higher side. As per my test on 4 core 3.6 GHz CPU, it was utilizing almost 30-44 %. I will recommend to use the tool with min 4 core CPU. Please test yourself with your CPU before deploying it for Algos.

Taking cue from the risk management one has learned during the journey of forex trading. To start with , use the FOREX COPIER for small trade size and low frequency trades. After gaining the confidence , deploy its automatic mode.
