PVSRA (Price, Volume, S&R Analysis)

EURUSD Short Closed:
A bit early, but did not want to push my luck (and some high activity at the lows added) since second EP was not hit . Could maybe get re-enter tomorrow , that's the plan for now at least.

AUDJPY Short Trade:
Fast entry, not too much planning because accidently noticed a touch of sharp falling TL . Good RR trade so I took it. While watching it decided to close at a bit over 1:1 RR because it is late in the day and I am expecting a retrace up (stop hunt) IF continuation tomorrow.

In such cases ( very sharp TL) it is better to drop down to M5 for entry and monitoring which is not as simple as the method itself and also time consuming- too complicated for this simple forwardtest for now.

What broker is recommended as best to use for the information/data regarding volume? Noticing how different brokers provide differing volume data, and considering how the reality of the market I expect some of these brokers to be providing data to retail traders that is counter productive.

Brokers Have Differing Volume Data

This is the result of brokers using different liquidity providing market making banks. Each such bank is an Exchange in the currency market, which is unlike the stock market that operates with a single centralized Exchange. In the stock market, no matter what broker is used all traders see the same pricing and volume. In the currency market broker prices and volumes can be different. The difference in pricing is normally negligible. The difference in volume is of no concern. Why? In the currency market volume represents the number of times price has changed (tick count) during a TF bar, not the total of currency traded! But studies have shown the histograms of both have sufficient resemblance to validate using both. And you already know that we do not concern ourselves with the tick count the "volume" height in the histogram represents, but rather the presence or absence of visual CHANGES in height that are relatively significant.

EURAUD Short Trade Closed

Since this trade began on Tuesday of last week, and now is Monday of following week, we can say this was a 5 day trade (ugh!). However, it ended up with 504.78 pips profit, which divided by 20 comes to 25.24 TVT 20 trades over the 5 day period,.......or 5 per day. This is not my favored predicament to end up dealing with because I missed the obvious TP on the 2nd day of the trade, but if managed well, such trades can turn out okay. Regardless of longer term bear potential, I decided to capture profit here and sit on hands now, to see what happens next with less pressure to be biased......

AUDJPY Short trade:
I really like this one, because the plan was to short, a long trade was not in the cards for me today. From the money management and controlling the losses it is almost perfect trade and a perfect example why a trader should use both!

EURAUD Short Trade

Very soon after the start of LS today, the MMs finished pumping it up, reaching the area where the Bias trend and a whole level were in confluence with a 38.2% retrace of the H4 swing down. This trade was made on the basis of the H4 chart where all trends were angled down and PA was, for all intent and purposes, still below them......
