Metta I'm still waiting for you to post your "not repainting" strategy. Meanwhile look at what happened a few minutes ago. It was easy to detect that the arrow was a false signal and would disappear. This is how real traders take advantage of repainting indicators and not fooled by them

And as your MACD was still above 0 line you wouldn't have taken the trade anyway.

To those who are complaining about repainting indicator or lagging, here some 2 cents advice.

Price action, candlestick patterns, and chart patterns are lagging tools as well.

  1. A daily timeframe candle is only formed after the market close
  2. A chart pattern can only be developed after a series of candles

So, isn’t it a repaint or lagging tool as well?

Unless you are the Broker everything you using to trade is unknown and is lagging and repainting, only the broker knows his order flow and how the charts will paint or form.

Sorry but I have never been pissed off at you or anyone else. Everybody is entitled to his opinion and, even if it's negative in the eyes of other traders, it adds value to the FF community. Some traders over react to mild comments and put traders who made comments they didn't like on their ignored list. Since I respect everybody I don't have any trader on my ignored list. The most number of traders I have seen on an ignored list is 850. I guess that trader is quite frustrated and refuses all opinions that don't match his. Happy trading
