Been a long time since I have looked at FF or even posted for that matter.
But I like and trade Renko and came across this thread so I thought I would add this little bit for you guys and gals.
You don't need to make big runs to make good money and in fact the less you are in the market the better your odds.
Here is a chart of what is possible if you only take 1 to 4 small trades a day.in the ES... each trade is going for 1 point/4 ticks
which equals 50 bucks.
Keep it simple.... Get in .... Get out.... Get a life ....
Good luck and happy trading.

Guys

Big general question.

Working with Renko well on MT4 feeling good but want to go further and explore MT5 Renko on secondary Chart anyone here using on MT5.

Any advise warmly welcomed as I have found this the light I needed to follow a new path.

Hi skyline555,

[/ quote] Sorry i have a question,

- Do not worry ...

As far as I know Renko's graphic is not native to the MT4 platform ... (for now)

[/ quote] there is an indicator that create a renko chart that not recalculate and once i have closed mt4 the chart change when i reopen it after one day?

To tell you the truth, I don't know how to answer you about it, I hope someone with this information will be the most updated here on the Forum to answer you.

Hey all. While I've been getting an Ea created using a 14ema and 21smma cross on renko with very specific trade management, I've also just been messing around with day trading the Nasdaq using the same moving averages but a more manual approach. Basically I only buy when price is above both and sell when below both, but also now factor in sup/res zones and strength of the trend. I'll wait for a small retracement towards the MAs then ill place the trade on a confirmation of continuing the trend. (the goal here is to just get 10-30 pips a day with tight SL --> large lots)

I used to think DAX was king but since I've been messing around on NDX I'm starting to convert. Maybe since I'm in the states so volatility is great when I wake up.
Anyone else day trade like this and/or like using renko on NDX? Dave I know this is similar to your ways, I've also been using 5 pip bricks too and tend to like them.

Hi everyone! New to this thread, been obsessed with renko recently so thought I'd surround myself with some renko traders and learn more about it. Been trading a couple years but always price action on cadlesticks. I have been testing a simple MA cross renko strategy and found it works well on DAX. I'll post what I'm testing here in case anyone finds it helpful, since I'm sure I'll be learning a lot from this thread. Got main template from Hutch. I went with 30 pip bricks. Super simple, basically just a 10 EMA with a 20 SMMA, sell when EMA crosses...

Hi Bulldawg,

Nas is great , Good for you if you are in the U.S. I feel that 5 pip Blocks is just right for me too (I know Dave loves 10 however!) . DAX and Nas are brilliant markets , and they trade well with your rules which I follow in very similar terms . Thanks for the screen shot.

Hi John, sadly this has been my demo where I am testing ideas as well as my Ea. If this were a real account I would have taken profit much earlier on each of the trades today. What specifically are you curious about?

Yea Im thinking 5 is great too. I still like to use 10 as a reference for overall trend but sometimes seeing more noise is better. Noise = information. With the 5 you can pinpoint entries and smaller levels which I like. How has your trading been, you also like to catch 10 or so pips then call it a day right?

Thebulldawg,

I appreciate your posts ,

There is a post that you comment about not trading in the Forex market, etc ...
What reason would that be?

5 and 10! 10 to set direction and potential, 5 for the detail and decision. 10 works well on the DAX but not so good on day to day currency pairs unless they are really moving.

{quote} Hello Brother, Sorry for the delay in replying, as I just turned on the computer. I'm using this Renko graphics generator that I posted below. Open a chart any period, place the Renko indicator on the chart. Open the Off_Line M2 chart of the currency or currency pairs on which you have placed the Renko indicator. Ready!! Change the period on the chart that placed the Renko indicator ... M1 / M5 / M15 / H1 / H4 / D1, etc ... Tell me if it worked !! Good studies my brother {file}

Hello Math,

I am trying to install the RenkoADX EA but it is not possible, because the message "The EA works with MT4 build number 1126 and lower" is constantly displayed.
I have MT4 build 1280. on your sreenshots in #Post 1,447 I also see build 1280. Can I get the current version for ADX EA and RSI EA from you?
