Most people don't understand that trading is much harder than a regular job... Actually, all people come in trading to get rich quick, and they think Forex is the shortest way. How wrong are that people...

I agree. I think the hardest part is gaining knowledge. IF you have enough knowledge trading is easy.

While the learning curve is fast and exponential while resolving your strategy and finding a working variation of basic account management and risk analysis rooted in efficiency enough to create profitability overtime ... The true beast you then need to conquer is your resolve to being steadfast to the working strategy that you created. Non-passionate, boring, calm, uneventful trading by design .... not feeding losses through unwillingness to accept defeat and move on quickly ... and resolve enough to fight the fear of winners returning to null and continuing to hold the runners...

50% skill 50% mental .... but its the mental that breaks most...

It is hard to say objectively whether forex is easy or not.
I mean that people are different and they have different background and education and mentality. Some people work better and feel better when they work on somebody and have a boss. Some people hate being controlled by somebody else and do their best to make their own business in order to avoid obedience. Trading is definetely for those who want to take full responsibility for their lives and financial well-being. It is very important to organize yourself and your learning process. A trader should also be good at controlling their own emotions and listen to common sense irrespectively of the feelings that they experience in this particular moment. It is also important to have necessary knowledge and skills if you want to succeed there.
All in all, trading is difficult because of the fact that one single trade should possess so many qualities and qualifications if they want to be a success and make decent and consistent profits.

If trading and making money through it was easy, everyone would have been a millionaire. So, take an idea from this and don’t take it lightly. If you understand it well and find out what can work for you and what you should avoid, your trading life becomes easier. Understand the depth and importance of every concept before you make any move.

So true. I never tire of repeating that trading is the complete opposite of easy money.

Trading is difficult. Here, the effort in the beginning is not to make money but to stop losing it. It’s very easy to believe that you can earn oodles of money by trading currencies at the comfort of your home but when you actually start doing it you’ll see that contrary to what you thought, you are only losing what you had. Growing your account and starting to earn consistently takes years.
