This week recap showed that the system with lower DD and more active with profit closing were those who had more than 6+ pairs trading as a basket. The failed combinations to scalp are : USD/CAD AUD/JPY Higher DD than i expected EUR/USD USD/CAD lost their correlation this week EUR/NZD NZD/CHF Higher DD than i expected USD/CAD AUD/JPY not so acitve this week The myfxbook accounts with these pairs will be removed because they dont have "legs" to move on. They will be replicated with the group below. The most profitable for this week and september...

The problem for now with X vs XAUUSD is that the Gold runs much faster than FX pairs. So I am testing 7xEURUSD/XAU and 8x. Still should keep the dd lower if there are very strong moves in gold. I am also playing a pool of currency against itself. The basic idea was that if I play 3 different long CHF VS 3 different CHF short pairs sooner or later the strenght or weakness versus other currencies should kill the other... Datas will tell I guess :-)

It strikes me that a grid system to supplement USDCHF,GBPCHF,EURGBP,EURUSD,USDJPY,AUDUSD,NZDJPY,CHFJPY,EURCHF could be beneficial.

Why complicate it? Its already balanced as it is supposed to be. Closed 3 cycles today with the account here in trade explorer.

I've closed 4 cycles today but it's now in a drawdown situation that will take time to recover from. Whilst a grid would increase the overall% drawdown, it would reduce the time for cycle recovery. Just airing my thoughts.

But if the price still goes against you, the possibility to blow the account are higher than now.
From my live accounts and demos, i have updated the groups being used now. Have a look at my site.
The group u say, has been the most successful now. What is your DD / lot / balance?

Four cycles?!
Can you explain what pairs you are trading?

I had a few cycles last week, but each cycle lasts at least a day.
How can I increase the frequency of the cycles?

I wouldn't worry about the DD situation as the hedge function works perfectly!
(or is your problem that four cycles in one day is not fast enough?)

{quote} Interesting and thank you! I have started a demo to check it out. You mention the EA generates 25 to 40% per month - what starting balance is this based on? Thanks again

Yes, I would also like to know that. It would be quite helpful if you share your stats. Then I'll also try to implement it.

You can have a look here : https://www.myfxbook.com/members/mastercool66 (look under history, deposit)
Most are £200 for 4 pair setups, but varies if CVP is higher or more than 4 pairs are used.

I may have missed it somewhere but how to you go about selecting 9 currencies in a group to trade based on correlation? It's obviously a changing scene from a time perspective so I can see updating them weekly is sensible. Why choose 9? What is the "balancing" process? Just looking to understand the process clearly. Thank you.

I mix 3 sets of Cross Currency Triangulations with specific conditions. I can not disclose it how , im sorry.

About updating them daily weekly or monthly is something u have to do it also with small groups too, like i was trading EURUSD USDCAD with -85 and it was lost the next day to -74 and i was in DD for 48 hours till it was closed in profit.

My data showed that larger groups had more balanced DD and closed in profit faster than the smaller or older groups. Thats where im focused right now.

You are not the only one. In the telegram group they are exploding.
I see some advanced tests like Crypto index vs USDCHF with DD less than 10%.
Im glad this EA helped people explore new way of trading.
Im finishing a custom scanner for group of pairs..... More to come these weekend.
