The5ers - Trading & Growth Program

Did you violate the stop loss rule 3 times and were not disqualified from the program? Where is it written that you can violate this rule up to 5 times?
I find that the 5%er's are looking to be fair. below is an example of their attitude towards the 6 month rule:

If for any reason you’re held back or are actively trading and just need more time. Please request a time extension on your evaluation period. There is a dedicated team working behind our website and brand. If we have not been notified for this request then the account will be terminated once 6 months is reached.

I do not know where I heard about the 5 times discretion. Can't remember. I think the idea though is do not count with too many chances. Perhaps my days are numbered.

There are some talented traders out there that will never see this orange screen of death ....

Can you imagine spending several years fighting your way to trade the final PM of 1.2 mil and a few bad decisions take you out?..you go from making 22k a month to zero...that would suck..but that's trading and what the job is. There is no job security. Systems can stop working. The range in Forex can dry up...

Every month that you get a 5%er's paycheck you can cherish. And when you get it you can be assured it will not be deducted from your progress as it would if you were trading your own money in your own account.

You are a talented trader in the 5%er's eyes and they want you to succeed as much as you do. I am told that they have plenty of capital that needs to be working.

There is a cost to them when this happens as they must put a hedge on to cover themselves while waiting for you to respond and correct the situation.

There is no gambling there. This is a whole new world of trading and has revealed to me what I have been doing wrong for decades.

45 bucks in 12 days....come on! it's going take you 140 days to get out of your current eval level of 6K and get to that next level of 24K to trade.

All I can say is wait till I get 1.2 mil to trade...this all scales up!!!!

P.S. This is a long road to travel and anything can happen in the next year or two...but every time I get in a hurry I get a risk warning.
if someone offered you the job that you love to do and told you that you could make 22k a month in 2 years and make over 100k while you got there ...how would you feel? What would you think? Does it make you feel excited again about trading? With this new support system...trading rooms with live trading...blogs...seminars and a family of people that want your best how can you not take away something?

Be honest. The 5%er's may not be for everybody but it sure has motivated me.

You just got to trade strictly AND STOP GAMBLING.

Sir, it should be possible to pass the evaluation phase within three months, and every milestone also imo.

That would mean that you have no idea how to trade, and your money management is no good. That would be a sign, go back to demo, and trade until you get it right. No, once you lose the certain amount, they will disable your account. You can always comeback.

What you mean by comeback? Pay the fee again, and Restart the challenge? Or it's free for the second time?
Whatever is happening right now has happened before and will happen again.
Yes, you have to pay again to start another evaluation.

It's not like FTMO where you get a free retry if you don't reach the target but is profitable after 30 days.

But: you trade on a live account, you have 6 months to finish the evaluation, and most important, you don't experience server crashes (even with the recent migration) to mess up your psyche while trading.

There is no second chance for free, especially if you break the risk rules. Nor does FTMO give you a second chance if you break the rules.

I suspect that most people are disqualified for violating the 1.5% stop loss rule and the maximum lots exposure rule than the 4% drawdown rule.

Does the maximum lots exposure rule also consider pending orders?

You have to pay the fee of course. It is not free. But you can comeback as many times as you can. But try not to keep losing and coming back. If you lose, or violate 1.5% risk, take a break go back on demo and work on your money management and strategy, I started with $13,000, but I also have my own private account, so I've been trading over 10 years. I did not violate the risk% and I passed it. I am at just pass $208,000 and doing very well. IF hopefully I reach to a 1.28 million, I will share it. If I don't reach there, that is fine, having $208,000 in the account to trade, you can make a lot of money. Try to use small lots, and don't risk more than 1%. That is my advice. Stick to that and reach the goal before 6 months. Trust me you can do it, but you have to have a good money management and of course strategy. IF you catch trending markets, you add smaller lots and add, and keep trailing the stop losses. Either way after that you are in profit. But if you know how to trade and with good risk management, you should not have any issues. I never had any issues with the5ers, mt4 platform always works, never had any issues. Same with transferring money. You can transfer it via visa or mastercard, but you can also set up with your own bank, I did that. So they send me whatever I earn my half every month. The money you earn, they will pay it every month.

0.5% risk per trade is ideal for me in the beginning, but probably you'll not able to open second trade due to max. exposure limit. With 0.5% risk, you can have 7 losing trades in a row
