Hi everyone. Could you help me coding the candlesticks?
It should be like the blue candles in the picture.
(BODY <= 50% of HIGH-LOW) Please also add a color selection function.

A pivot HL indicator for MT4 just like the exact same one on tradingview..

It's called "Pivot Points High Low" on tradingview..

Good day learned friends

This might not be the right channel to inquire by,
but I am looking for a TRADE MANAGER,
similar to TRADER ON CHART,
that will automatically, with every trade,
set my LOTSIZE,
and STOPLOSS
according pre determined money management risk % settings.

(Unfortunately Trader On CHART is not available as a free EA.)

All resulted fine vline plotted on the correct candle and the message appears is ok too.

Yes now there are 3 options it can plot both vline+arrow that is super!

- if in a template, the indicator will plot as normal
It is ok when I use template on the other pairs it plot all the old vlines + current new lines just I need to repeat 4 step, 1st-Ctrl+B List All, 2nd-Ctrl+A, 3rd-Delete close and refresh all get set for the new pair.

Thank you very much for the quick correction and for the new additions which all worked fine!

All worked perfect the resultant image is attached. "EURUSD Single Breakout Candle Ok!"

Hello all,

Am in need of help, i want to use TMA in an EA, but i have a problem in finding the buffers.....how do i write the code to represent the three previous bars...either ascending or descending.

The buffers are listed clearly in the data window, also listed clearly in the init section in the code. Buffer indexes start from 0, icustom the selected buffer into your code with timeseries indexing for it's position.

For slope calculation, compare the more recent timeseries index with the earlier one, higher=up, lower=down. Since you got mtf in the pic, add in the target tf when using icustom, and use indexing based on that tf.

Hi Jeanlouie, could you code this martingale strategy for me?

Strategy goes as foollows:
We look at the HIGH and LOW between 20:00--1:00 (GMT+3) on 5 minute chart. If the candle closes above or/and below the range, we take the trade: TP=10 pips, SL=10pips. (Only 1 cross above and 1 cross below the range is allowed, so maximum of 2 trades per day). If the previous trade is at loss, then the following trade should double the lot size and so on... until we end up at profit. Settings: Lot size, GMT offset, TP and SL. Thanks in advance.

Sorry but I don't do ea's, others do, and there are also free online ea buidlers to explore. Also, it's likely there will be a string of consecutive losses that will gladly wipe an account.

This sounds like the midline of a 12 period Donchian channel.

Can someone build a simple indicator that puts the day of the week on top of the charts centered within the period separators? Options to include are font size, font type, X/Y distance from top, and maybe an option to change the text color for each day?

Yeah you're on the right track, actually looks like it'd work so try it out, tip - to easily check values you're getting, Print("variable thing =",variable) them out and compare the data window values of the tma+cog at those indexes. As in it's not working? Just looking at it again, there's an issue with your ifs, assuming you do have an action after them, the ifs are problematic. They should both look like if val0>val16 && val16>val32 = up slope, and else if val0<val16 && val16<val32 = down slope. The way you have it set is to look for a down slope on the top band, and look for an up slope on the lower band, when you need to look for both, on both bands, and then make some decision based on those results. Because there are 2 conditions in the ifs, just because an slope check is false, doesn't mean it's the reverse slope. Again I'd recommend getting a slope value from the midline only, buff 0.
