lol, you're just going to come onto a public forum and ask what to do with YOUR money? Pretty much everyone on here is doing or has passed the challenge. To really answer your question, you have to ask yourself if you're a profitable trader and does your system meet their trading parameters. What FTMO offers is large capital for profitable traders who either are under-capitalized or simply do not wish to invest that amount of capital on their own.

Sorry I didn't mean to ask a stupid question, I just don't know if I'm ready or not, I've only been trading for 1 month, is this good results? could I pass?

I can't tell you if you're trying to show off, that 79% in a month means you are risking WAAAAAAAAAY too much, it is not sustainable and one bad trade will ruin you. So if you are just trolling, I have better things to do with my time.

Hi. My suggestion is to do the trial account, see if you can pass a minimum of 5 times (there's such a thing as "beginner's luck" in trading, you know) and then try the lowest-priced Challenge.

It just goes to show that risk control will get you so far but you still need a winning strategy.

The unfortunate part is that given a different month or period of trading Leweg1 might have breezed through but instead got caught in a losing streak that can play havoc with any trader.

I for one really hope he has another dig at it.

Hello everyone,
I hope you have had a great couple of weeks enjoying the last really warm days of summer. I see that the thread is quite alive these days. Welcome to all new traders!
As you have noticed, the server migration caused some technical issues for us and due to that, we were extremely busy to fix everything and to answer all our clients as fast as possible. Due to both the new setup and the technical issues we had to resolve, the number of incoming emails and chats was an order of magnitude larger than our average and that has created a backlog of emails and significant waiting times on our Live Chat. We are returning back to normal again. There were few things that you discussed extensively since we last posted here, so let us first address these:

In regard to the delayed Datafeed that occurred on our Platform on 31st August and few hours of 1st September – We are very sorry that this has happened. We contracted a third party to handle the migration for us and the recommended setup proved to be quite insufficient, causing large delays during the times of large trading activity. The issue has been fixed in morning hours of 1st September and our CEO Otakar was personally handling all the FTMO Traders who were initially flagged as possibly abusing the delayed Datafeed. We have come to an agreement with all our traders. If you have someone intentionally abusing the system and you can’t fix the system immediately, the temporary suspension is the only real way as in the opposite case, you can be losing significant capital quite rapidly. We did not have enough human resource capacity to immediately assess all initially flagged accounts and thus even some traders who we initially thought might have been abusing the system got their account suspended for a few hours to a few days. These were, of course, fully reinstated once the full assessment was done.

The rest of the issues (like the repeating candles or order execution issues) have been solved in the following days and at this time, we know of no broad issue that would be present on our FTMO Platform. We are still encountering isolated issues with some MetriXes not being updated as often as they should. This issue occurs on a tiny minority of all the accounts and we are working on solutions to ensure smooth functionality. If you encounter anything unusual, please report it to us.

Switching old account to new LP Setup: Not all accounts have been switched to the new setup with multiple LPs yet. If you have symbols with .lmax suffixes on any of your accounts and would like to move your account to new LP setup immediately, you can write us an email that you wish to change your setting to the new LP setup and we can make the change for you, providing you have no open positions present at the time.
Lastly, we do not wish to censor the content here but would appreciate if you tried to limit the use of large fonts, vulgarism and personal fights on this thread. We wish for it to remain informative and civil. Thank you!

Hello Maaliktalha, I assume you have reported it already to us at [email protected]. In case you haven’t, please do so. Our system is recording the timestamps of the recorded values of Max Daily Loss and Max Loss and we investigate each reported case. We are calculating the floating P/L of all open positions present at the time of the breach and add them together with the results of the closed trades during the day and make a conclusion based on that. Our system rarely makes mistakes, but we can never rule out a glitch and thus every reported case is calculated by our staff. We will email you the results of the investigation with all the screenshots detailing the positions, calculations, prices at the time and so on to support the outcome of the investigation.

Company registration: You do not need to register as a company beforehand. Even if you signed the FTMO Contract as a physical person already, we can change it to company registration at any time later on if you provide us with your company details supported by official government documents – company name, address, business number, you showed as an executive and if you plan to charge value-added tax, then also a tax reference number (VAT).

It seems you have been misinformed. We never rejected anyone for a reason you described. Even if you make all profits for one day and then trade micro-lots for the rest of the 9 Active Trading Days, we will not reject you as long as you trade in accordance with our rules. As others said here, we really like to go by our rules, and we have no rule that would state that you need to have your profits spread out across the days. Yes, we do like to see trading consistency, but ultimately, we go purely by our rules.

Hello AnRan, I confirm that the $300k maximum capital allocation to one trader/trading strategy is meant prior to scaling up of the account. There is actually no cap on the scaled-up capital so, in theory, you can grow your $300k account without any limitations with $75k increase every 4 months.

I think that should answer all the raised concerns and questions. Thank you for the mature approach shown on the thread again. Many people online were jumping the guns making quick conclusion without even waiting for our responses, but you showed patience and kept clear minds here. Core skills for every trader.

Does anyone know or is there a statistic from FTMO on:

1. Percentage of people passing FTMO Verification and becoming Funded Traders? (I think I saw somewhere that it is 8%)

2. Percentage of Funded Traders violating rules during 1st Month and being disqualified.

3. Percentage of Funded Traders still trading after 3 months with FTMO

4. Number of Funded Traders FTMO has on the books after 3 month of trading. (Ex, 50 Traders, 60, 100 traders)

Ive read that it’s only about 8% that get funded. I’m a funded trader with a 200k and a separate 100k account. You can go back through this thread and see my journey from challenge through verification and then getting funded.

Since becoming funded, I returned 11.8% in month one of which I received 70% + plus my challenges fee. This is based on the $300k (I use a VPS trade copier). I’m on track to better than in month 2 and I’ll post that return when I get there.

I think you’ll find it tough to get the other stats you are looking for. People like me are seasoned traders who are not looking for Insta fame nor followers... we just simply love trading the markets and making money consistently over time. As such, you won’t find us making bombastic statements and claims, nor showing off rented Lambos (like a certain Mr Savage). Instead we are busy trying our best to accumulate consistently.

Also check out Swing4Fence who is a funded trader who posts on this thread. He even has a TE I believe...unlike me, his results have been stellar to date

Lastly, thus far,I have had no issues with getting my split. It’s a very simple invoice process and money hit my account a couple of days later.
