Hello people.
Been trying to find a method to trade PA, and came across this idea a few days back. Figure I’d forward test it. I’m sure this isn’t a ground breaking idea or anything, but thought I’d share it anyway and see what other people think about it, perhaps more heads are better than one.
It’s fairly straight forward.
1. Look for a candle that has just closed near its high or low.
2. If that candle has a smaller range than the previous candle, it’s a candidate for a trade.
3. Consider time of day.
4. Consider current trend.
Now it’s obviously rather subjective and leaves room for all types of questions. Since I’ve only taken one trade with this method, I don’t have all the answers, but I’ll address a few.
I figure it’s probably best to post a few real time trades and address all conditions in real time, as looking at past examples doesn’t truly reflect how your analyzing things when you pull the trigger.
Going to be using the 1hr time frame, so there should be a trade along shortly I suspect.
