Irrational wild market moves....we are back to 2000 Internet bubble, but that time there were hundreds shares pumping up, while today main World Indices are concentred in a dozens shares that rule the current world.

Really strange. There is so much money in the market. I'm looking for a good short entry. My first try at 395 CFD was stopped out at be.

It seems a CASINO.....Central Banks give money for free to Banks/Institutionals, Governements don't want a fall in the markets, and so the bubble will increase and increase and increase. This si the AMAZON world, underpaid & temporary workers all around for few rich and super rich in the world.

Your general MO had already been described quite well by another user yesterday, but occasionally I wonder about your stop losses.

More often, when things go against you, I see you barreling further, stocking up more. This reduces your bucket average, making it "easier" to make the entire thing look green in the end. But at the same time, this carries the risk of running yourself deeper into the mess. E.g. few days ago in the dip down below 13k, you at some point I think ended up with 17 FDXM and 8 CFD or something like that. (or the other way around?)
If that train would have just continued, at what point would you have cut your losses?

Similarly today you opened those shorts. If you would have missed to get rid of them before the spike, I assume you would have added in the 430 zone. What if a day like yesterday would have repeated then? While old economic logic dictates those rises to be absurd, one can see the argument that the DAX lost almost 10% on the SP500 in the last month which have to be caught up. So the up potential is not really capped anywhere near at this weird point in history.

So TLDR:
If things go against you and you reach the next lower level, how do you make the decision to stock up or to stop out?

PS: Asking because I got burned severely yesterday

Are we getting to old to keep watching this circus?

It looks like Cirque De Soleil. Better but more risky performances/moves all the time.

Still love it.

Yes Dutchy you're right, probably I'm getting older for this circus but this is the only job I can do these years, these days. And I thank this job, obviously.
But I don't like the inequality that world economy and the markets are producing, as you know 10/12 companies have 70% capitalisation maybe more US SP500.
Most of them, have underpaid and temporary workers all over the world,specially youngsters and many middle aged men are pushed out from their jobs.
So the wealth that we see in the markets is highly concentrated and it will be more and more concentrated next weeks, years.
So it's not spread all over the world. I'm not a philosopher here, maybe I'm a little bit naive for current world and I'm wotking hard to have my piece of cake trading this wild horse everyday.

That's all, as I wrote to you some days ago, you, me can't change the world, but at least I can say my opinion, at least here!

I have 3 shorts in place and a couple of my sons are asking me some help on Math & French language homework.....so a little bit busy.

I have 3 DAX CFDs 441, but I guess they will not go down for now.

I go only DAX CFDs, because if prices remain above 430/450 zone , they will attack 500 and 530 zone where probably there's an old gap open since 21 Feb for DAX CASH INDEX, but I have to check.

Not yet, next week, but they had tons of homework to do during the summer and ........obviously they are doing only early September.
I don't blame them, summer is for funs, games, jokes and to relax.
I ever haven't study on my past summers, excluded 1 at University, cause was an examinition crucial for my life, and it was the real key of my life!!!l
