most of my custom indicators i am using on my regular live account feed and executing on ftmo because the chart has weird bad ticks in it so it skews indicator data. I dont know what they are doing about it, its up to them, but I suspect many people including people who are trading with them for real money are likely upset at the moment. But as with anything that connects to lmax, there are always start up issues. Most large firms dropped lmax off their pools for a reason and these bad ticks are part of it.

What is with the new server

All my charts just turned into EURUSD

Earlier today I have a stop loss that did not execute. Thats not good, if I am not in front of the computer it can fail challenge. Good thing I am only doing the free trial challenge.

Daniel savage is on instagram shitting all over FTMO because of his fellow scammer having a problem with ftmo. Seems valid reason to be angry, FTMO likely has a lot to answer for what they are being accused of. They are suggesting people on live accounts are not getting paid because of the server change the trades aren't being executed. Something like that. This is going to get dramatic.

I'm not having any issue with new server. Looks works as usually but I still have same .lmax suffix. Shouldn't it have names without suffix now?

Indeed, looks to me that the best approach is to use a trade copier on FMTO Server and trade from another broker until price feed gets fixed, bigger issue lies in the fact that - like maflip reported - they are jumping over the SLs when there's no gap happening anywhere.

go to 1 min or tick chart, and run another broker next to it, pick your favorite. You will see the problems. And basically everyone is reporting problems all over social media and its becoming a bigger problem because they aren't handling it properly. They suspended some guys account because their server failed to copy the trades. Mind you the guy is a scumbag but they essentially cancelled 25k worth of trades. When brokers did this, people got out the torches and pitch forks, now they are doing it to traders at their own fault. They shouldn't have released the new server without sufficient testing and then should have only hosted the smaller accounts on it so they can cover liabilities, then ramp it up after that.

Then looks serious. Anyway at least in demo challenges ( and I think validation challenges ) look fine. Or as @tradista told works well if you use copier with master in other broker

I'm in the 100k challenge at the moment. at 8k currently. I am not sure whether they will use excuses on my challenge as I have almost passed in 2 days. I am hoping not and not judging them about it yet, but my personal anxiety is telling me it may be said i will have to restart the challenge, and I'd be upset. NB: I am not taking advantage of the feed, i even once didnt close a trade because it was on a dead tick in my favor so i waited for the dead tick to go away and closed

I KNEW this was going to be a problem. They should've only released a new server for the funded accounts, not challenges. They are transferring data AND changing the symbol names. Funded traders don't hold their trades over the weekends. Challenges and verification do, so all these problems you see in the bars are multiple data feeds at once. It's not being synchronized, and how can it be? Some people on here have a pair with lmax in the name from last week going to a provider that doesn't use the any of those suffixes.

They should've bit the bullet and said if someone is in challenge or verification, even if you are negative we need you to close out any trades over this specific weekend. If you fail this challenge or verification, we will give you a retest regardless if you break a rule. Then no one feels screwed over. If they are positive, still need to close it, let them pass the challenge regardless if they reach the profit target. There is the customer service perspective, or the "who cares if shit goes wrong, we want to keep collecting fees". For me, it's their first major test and they failed horribly.

I checked symbols now and they have old lmax and new symbols without suffix. And looks you still can use old symbols then if you have opened last week trades, should not affect you in challenges. Even you still can open with lmax this week...

Gotta understand how it works. Multiple LP system, the execution goes to the best priced LP. People's SLs are getting skipped because the price is getting sent to a server that doesn't even have that symbol suffix. That's why they initially had to revert back. You could see floating PL moving, but not see it in the chart. We are watching another LPs data but a different LPs price (change in server close/rollover is still there). Not a problem if they had EVERYONE close their trades over the weekend.
The best strategy is a profitable one.
